It's really sad. Seeing her so serene but with the tube and pale...God, I'm already crying. I think Emily will do a great job in making me cry my eyes out monday..and I haven't seen the moment when she have the crisis yet...:eek: That's promising, I'm going out to buy a stock of issues...;)

:shifty: it's pretty difficult to explain how the pics of Calleigh intubated make you feel.
Let's say that first of all it's shocking. I expected to see her intubated, but no now, in the promo.
As for the pic in itself I think it's all due to the combination "tube+serene face" which, quite honestly, is weird and good at the same time.
I've watched lots of shows with people who got intubated and I've never seen anyone as serene as she looks.
I do think it's partly because of the type of the tube they used (surely better than the one they used for Brass in LV or Falck in NY :lol:. Thank god she doesn't have any kind of trauma LOL) since it doesn't cover he face, at all.
Secondly, it's due to her face which, IMO, it's kinda realistic, well let's say natural. I mean technically she's in coma, she's sleeping and I'm pretty sure she has no idea what's happening all around her. As far as I know when you're sleeping (also because you're in coma) you don't feel any movement of your body and, above all, you can't control it. It's all involuntary. Surely, seeing someone contracting his/her face while he/she's in coma, well it's not that natural :lol:, you can see that it's a voluntary movement which is not realistic at alll when you're pretending to be in coma :lol:.
She looks like a real person who's in coma and can't control her body, not to mention that she can't even control her breating.
And for this I have to say Kudo to Emily ;)

I think that the contrast tube and face is perfect for the situation and that's why we remain kinda shocked in front of it.

*grabs lots of tissues and defibrilator ready to remain shocked** :p

Thanks, Flò for explaining it. I was having a hard time trying to find the right words...you know, I had just woken up! ;) Emily has this great talent to make people feel what her character is feeling. WhenCalleigh is angry, sad or sick you can see it in her eyes, like Emily helself was feeling it. So she is so realistic lying there, her face relaxed and the world outside just a backgroung! I'm sure we will see great things from her...

Screencaps, pleeeeeeeeeeaseeeeeeeee!!!! Where are the screencaps? We've gone quite a few episodes without them. Those anyone know were 7x14's could be found?? Please and thanks! :)
