George/Nick: Texan Charm #13

Loved Nick in the first episode last night - he was fantastic. That should have been his last episode. It showed us his empathetic side. And it showed us how much he has grown over the years - from the young man who was spooked by the reporter in Strip Strangler to the man who wasn't afraid to go find the victim and suspect on his own.

And although it wasn't enough, I loved the music montage at the end.

I will miss Nicky.

Totally agree. The "finale" wasn't Nick's finale, but that's okay. He got a good episode before that, and not a lot of drama over his leaving.

George has been the best actor on the show since the beginning (in my opinion). He's cared about and invested so much in the character of Nick Stokes that he's gotten all of us fans to care about and invest in him too. We're paying for that now. :( It was heartbreaking to see him go, and yet we're so happy for him and how it ended.

And now...sadly...my last ever hand porn shot. :(

What for me was the most sad part of that finale mountage was not only the old pictures, the scenes with Grissom, Catherine and everything else. For me the most touching part was when he touch the Fynn list of cases and for a minute i was like "¿WTF?" he really care Fynn? but then i get to it, Warrick, his old pal and then we get finally some montage relative to Warrick so god, so sad...

I also noticed him laying his hand on Finn's name. Nick cares about everyone. :) That's why we love him!

I don't know how new any of this is but...

Flipping Out meets CSI

It's Flipping Out meets CSI on the July 29 episode of Bravo's design show when CSI star George Eads and his wife, Monika, appear. Design and real estate guru Jeff Lewis has been helping the couple renovate their home for nearly two years, and in Us Weekly's exclusive sneak peek at the episode, find out what happens when George finally sees his wife's selections

Spoiler alert: He's a lot pickier than anyone realized. "Papa George had a very strong opinion about things," Jenni Pulos says in an interview.

To wit: "This couch is not going to work in here," Eads says as he tests out a bunch of sofas. "Sitting's one thing, falling asleep on it's another."

Eads acknowledges that he isn't used to working with anyone on his home decor. "I've never had a designer get involved," he admits. "There's all these little things that I didn't know that I liked until they were gone."

So the moral is, take your spouse furniture shopping with you! (the driveway is not the same thing! ;-P )

I guess the designer uses none of your stuff because it messes up his design? Sheesh, people buy stuff because they like it, maybe the designer needs to use some of it!

I'd probably feel the same way, the sentimental value of the original house design.

Today is the first day of filming the final episode and George won't be there, still bummed about that. I hope we eventually find out why he chose not to be in the episode - hope it is a good reason.

I'm still hoping for a surprise cameo, but I hope at the very least we get news of him.. The team has to at least mention him.
