George/Nick: Texan Charm #13

Finally watched the finale from last season. George, you were looking good and did a fine job with what turned into a horrible plot there at the end. *sigh*

So I have decided that I will still watch the first three episodes of Season 14 simply because you will be in them. I will try to ignore the bad writing. And after that...I'm not watching a single one until/unless you come back.
 
Was really shocked when Shane tweeted last night that they had thought about killing Nick in In The Box.Guess they went with Detective Lockwood instead.No respect even back then but his fans always felt it.Funny how those kind of things are noticed no matter how they try to hide it.
 
I probably would have stopped watching the show shortly after that episode. The show is not what it used to be, and as I have said before, I now only watch it because of George/Nick.

Same here. I struggled through watching the finale last night finally....and I will sit through the 3 eps with him in them next season, but that's it. No George, no Nick, no me.
 
^ can't see us getting anything really new until they start discussing his return. Probably hoping that if it isn't talked about in the press, it will slip over more peoples' heads.
 
First of all, I am so not happy that George will not be in 6 or 7 episodes after episode 3. That is crazy..

Secondly, I miss him already.

Same here. I just wish things would get settled for him and that he's happy.
 
Not enough Nick in last night's episode, but we knew that would be the case.

I must say I loved Nick and Sara sitting together at the funeral. Every new season I wish that Nick and Sara will get to work more together but that never really happens, and probably won't this year.

2 more episodes to go and then we get a much needed break from a show that was once so good.
 
It's a sad sad, day when actors are punished for wanting the best for their characters. Really sad to hear about him not being around. I could just about accept he wouldn't be in a couple of episodes, but the 300th episode is just spiteful on the part of the producers. I will of course watch regardless. But only because British TV has nothing better to offer.

I just hope the 300th episode is not a "promote the newbies" episode like the 200th was

Is there some article or interview that confirms George wants out or are we all just speculating and hoping that's the case?
 
So great to see Nick with something to do in last night's episode.

I loved the scene between him and Brass at the end - so well done by them both. I miss the both of them having scenes together.
