So, we never lost power. We lost cable! Finally got through to a human being this morning - I won't comment on her! :scream: Talked to a different person this afternoon and told them that we're the only ones on this street without cable - wha-lah - an hour later we get cable and internet. :hugegrin: Of course we still got a huge, dead pine tree leaning on the television and cable wires. :eek: As of dinner time there were still around 3,000 people in Massachusetts without power. :(

For you all to see what we've been through:
somewhere under there is the street out front our house on Sunday morning
this is going the other direction on Sunday morning
large branches from one side to the other
Thursday morning is when the street got cleared

Nothing is worse than listening to commercials for your favorite television shows on the radio when you can't watch them. I have managed to watch season 11 in it's entirety in one week! :lol:

And glad you've made it back to The Ward :) it's the little things like cable and phones that we can't seem to live without.

Nope, can't live without internet and cell phone :D

One of these days I need to upload my photos of a snow storm we had here in the desert. I mean, it snows every year, but usually only a few inches that last a day or two tops, but in 2008 we had a Christmas holiday snow storm that dumped 2 feet on us and lasted almost 2 weeks :eek:
As lovely as it was, it was the biggest pain in the butt to have to take care of the horses and ranch. :scream:

Welcome back blackflag! The pics are very pretty - but I'm sure not so much fun to be living in! :lol:

It finally snowed for real here today - only a couple of inches, but just enough to make the morning commute horrible.

I had fun bowling this afternoon. Found myself channelling Nick a couple of times, the way I was holding the ball. :lol: I do wish they had candlepin here though - the balls for ten-pin are way too big and heavy. :( I won a movie pass for "most improved" on my team (52 the first game and 138 the second). :lol:

So, time to distract myself from my own sore arm by enjoying those delicious views of Nick's arms... :drool:
