thanks :) the head ache finally went away late morning :)

Nick and I are having a lovely day today. It's been a perfect May Saturday. Light breeze and the temperature's about 16C

I just had a chuckle at the avatars of a number of us. We've got Nick in wearing black and in 3 case with black and sunnies :lol:

I agree, it's hard to stay away from Nick in black! :drool:
My second favorites are any shade of blue, or just plain bright white!

Since I couldn't breathe much today, I stayed indoors and played around on Google Earth. I wanted to see the Santa Monica Pier again, and see what had changed in recent years. I use to live in Malibu once upon a time, and worked in Santa Monica, so I drove by the Pier everyday on the way to work. In spite of all that, I never once actually set foot on the Pier :eek:

It seems to me that the Pier is accurately portrayed in the episode. The best I can tell, the only CGI'd part is adding *Carousel* to the top of the building. Since the carousel is inside, you can't visually tell what it is if you haven't been there, and we the viewer, needed to know the connection to Ray's *first date* with Gloria on a carousel. Anyway, it was still cool to see the guys on the Pier!

Can you tell I was bored today? I had plenty of time on my hands waiting for the Kentucky Derby :lol:

Nick and I have had a lovely time together :devil: but alas it must come to an end :( but :) for another lucky Ward Girl. So it looks like Nick will be spending some quality time with Raynn :) I think this has become so much of a classic for almost every them we can think of :) and I also liked the Open Nick from Father of the Bride. I love that colour on George :) So congrats on winning Raynn :) Nick is on the next WestJet flight out of Pearson so he should be there shortly. Enjoy your Nick time :devil:
 
Thanks Jacquie, for sending Nick this way. If the weather here doesn't brighten up soon though, I think he's going to start refusing to board WestJet (or I'll be joining him on the next flight out!).

I was surprised nobody posted the Swap Meet one before me! :lol:

For the next theme, I'm going to be indecisive and greedy, and give you all a list. :) Each set, one each of:

crouching
chocolate
with a lab rat
with another CSI (yes, you can use Greg twice, in the appropriate seasons :))
short sleeves
smile
