egeria, I have totally forgotten to thank you for this list! I am obssessed with lists and I keep record of the themes and winners to, however not as neatly as your list :lol:, so thanks!

You obssessed? Nah, just devoted!

It would be interesting to see it broken down a bit more..;)

Just the socialist in me is all..and as a former political science (majoring in social justice) student, we see politics in places most people don't..that's why we like stats..to ensure all are treated fairly..;)

Yep, it's full o' stuff! :) I think I read somewhere at one point that sometimes they wear the vest so everything is right there and their hands are free to work (hee hee) and they don't have to be carrying the kit around.

And sure. To look hot! :drool:

I've been planning to go back a further few threads...and I was thinking about doing a statiscs spreadsheet too! Oh man, I don't have enough time in the day for all my side projects!!

Anyway, I just came by to say nice theme Yoshi, but I'm going to sit this one out! I'm at work so can't look at the pics but I'm sure all the goods ones have been posted already!

Of course...I may change my mind when I get home later tonight! It's been known to happen!

egeria, that's why this is the 'Syndrome Ward'. :lol: We're all hopelessly obssessed with this specific Texan. :p :D :guffaw:

Bookgirl, if you've noticed Nick doesn't usually carry his kit so the vest not only is for identification but it holds things for him. I've seen him consistantly pull latex gloves out of one of the front pockets but I've noticed him (Time of your Death is one episode) put bagged evidence into one of the pockets. I sometimes notice strange things and he wears the vest more than anybody else and carries the kit less than anybody else. :lol:

Call me slow sometimes! :rolleyes: After looking through the pics I posted last night I just realized that Nick was wearing a black short sleeve (sleeveless?) t-shirt underneath the black short sleeve polo in The Theory of Everything. I know he's worn a long sleeve t-shirt under a polo before (No More Bets and Killer come to mind) this is just the first time I've seen him wear a short sleeve one under a polo. :p I did just say I notice strange things sometimes. :lol:

Statistics don't ensure people are treated fairly - they keep statisticians in jobs and numbers are easier to manipulate than people. 'There are lies, damn lies and statistics' comes to mind.

There was me thinking this game was all about posting some good looking caps and picking a favourite at that point in time, didn't realise I was a political pawn :eek:

I guess my question to that was - how else did you want it broken down? As in going farther back in time...or more cateories, etc?

I think that list is a great idea. I can never remember who won. LOL

I hadn't commented on the list that egeria spent the time to do but I love it. I always thought this game was a game and fun. When people turn it into a political issue what fun does it become. I pick the theme winners for my theme on the fact that a picture goes wow for me not on who hasn't won recently. If anyone is concerned about not winning then they need to play the game on a regular bases :)

Shorty's a little confuzzled about Yoshi's 'beagle' comment and I am too :)
 
Wow...what a can of worms.

I did the list for interests sake for myself, just to see a) what themes had been used previously and b) what pictures were more 'winning' than others! (and I have to admit...c) to have an excuse to go back and :drool: :drool: :drool: over the pics. Remember I'm relatively new here!)

Anyway, that part about statistics I didn't even bring up, but yeah it might be interesting to see how many time a buzz picture wins over stache picture. But as I'm allergic to maths I'm not going to be working out those figures!

Well. Regardless, I'm not going to mention the list again and I apologise for offending anyone about the statistics bit. I am going to keep updating the list because I'm devoted/obsessed/sad like that, and it's up to whoever wants to to keep looking at it.

In the meantime, I have a headache from reading about tertiary paediatric care all day so I'm going to have a look at the vest entries and drool a bit!! Might even post some if I can find anything good!

Hey so back to the reason for the thread! Is this what you would call an 'oh yeah' moment? I'm not sure! :lol:
