So goes the first week of school! Neither kid is happy today because they both forgot homework yesterday. Victoria even more so because she was enjoying the fact that she would be outside for 3 periods today until she was told by us that she had to wear old clothes. The kids in the middle school are spending 3 periods tromping through the woods around the school looking for the Asian Longhorned Beatle. The latest contaminated area ends about 1/3 of a mile from the school which is 1.3 miles from my house (we mapquested it last year trying to get Vicotora on a bus)!
