Thanks everyone for the sentiments for my speeding ticket. Now I just have to wait for them to mail me the court date and get this off my record. If I'm lucky the State Trooper won't show up and I can have the ticket dismissed. Of course, I don't have that kind of luck, but hey, you never know. Oh, well, at least he let me go on an iBond (?) which means he let me go just on my signature and gave me my license back.

Babs nice to see you back. We've missed you.

Ok Miss Speedy stokesgirl how fast were you going if the State Trooper wanted to take your license. And what is an iBond?

Like I'm gonna tell! :) In Illinois if you were pulled over for speeding they always took your license, no matter what. You got it back at the court date or was mailed to you. Now they don't always take it. And I have no idea what an iBond is. I'll have to see if I can find something on the web. Actually, I'm still shocked he didn't ask me if I was drinking. Which I wasn't, cause I don't drink (can't stand the taste of the stuff).

Alright, he told me I was clocked at 79 mph (I was on a highway, not a local road), however, he wrote on the ticket 80 mph. Hmmmm, I wonder if that technicality will get the ticket thrown out. Me thinks, no, it won't.

In order to chat we would all have to have the same program....Yahoo Messanger or AOL's AIM or something. I doubt if we all do. :(

So Speedy Stokesgirl mentioned that the cop was cute. At work we think the armored car guys are hot, as well as the cops in the parking lot next door. But then we decided that we really just have a thing for guns and uniforms.! :D
