Gary Sinise Cast in Criminal Minds Spinoff

I hope this show is good. Criminal Minds has not been hot recently in terms of writing. Anyway all the best for this show!
 
Gary will be on Criminal Minds tonight, Wednesday April 8th. This is apparently the backdoor pilot for his new show next season. I haven't watched CM in years but I will tonight.
 
I liked it for sure. It's just kinda hard to figure how it's going to be when they added the other cast from CM. I think Anna Gunn was good in this one.
 
I was concerned that I would see too much of Mac in Gary's new character, but I didn't. Jack Garrett looks and sounds very different from Mac Taylor.
 
I thiught that too, except for the "Drop your weapon!" In the end. but it was the same actor saying the same sentence, so it's natural remember his old character. I thought they should choose a different name. Mac, Jack, they're similar. They could use something like Paul, or Michael, or Harry... A name that sounds differently.
