It's like brain teasers, except you'll want to kick yourself when you find out how easy these are. If you have read the answer somewhere, let someone else try. If not, take a guess.

First question: An electric train is traveling due south. The wind is coming from the east. Which way will the train’s smoke blow?

    That was quick. Next question
A rooster is sitting on the roof of Joe's house. If it lays an egg and it rolls to the right, it lands in Joe's property. But if it rolls to the left, it will be on his neighbor Sam's land. Should Sam be allowed to keep the egg?

Maybe these are a little too easy. Wanna try another?

A boat has a ladder that has six rungs. Each rung is one foot apart. The bottom rung is one foot from the water. The tide rises at 12 inches every 15 minutes. High tide peaks in one hour. When the tide is at its highest, how many rungs are under water?

    Next question:

Joe also has a potato plant that is growing near the edge of his property. Sam says he wants to pick any potato he sees growing over his fence. Can Sam pick the potato?

Why can't a man living in the Winston-Salem, NC, be buried west of the Mississippi River?

Of course, he could be buried, but that would be against the law. That would be one for Grissom's crew to solve. Well, here we go again. Something tougher?

What is one thing that all wise men, regardless of their religion or politics, agree is between heaven and earth?

Two mothers and two daughters go to a pet store and buy three cats. Each female gets her own cat. How is this possible?
