Fox's Fate Is Confirmed

^ That I agree. I don't see a point in having a campaign like this since it's her decision to refuse the raise no matter she's happy with it or not. We're not 100% sure she's leaving until she really does, but if she thinks it's a better choice than to stay, then more power to her and good luck. :)

Also, there were posts about the campaign posted in the LV forum that got moderated. According to the mods, posting something like that is against the board rules.

EricaSJ, letter writing campaigns are not against the rules, just the part soliciting monetary donations. And that did not make sense because the people they were asking us to send money to have much more than most of the board members.

Sorry, but it's against policy to allow solicitations on the site. Too much potential for problems.

I'm sad to see her go. I really like Jorja and I love Sara even though I wasn't a huge fan of the Grissom/Sara storyline. I kind of liked kick-butt Sara better.

It's unfortunate that it all came down to money. And it's sad to see she hasn't let go of the 2004 firing incident or perhaps they didn't. Hard to say since we weren't there.

I've done a lot of thinking on this particualr issue. I liked Sara in the first few season bt recently he's been losing that edge I had grown to like about her. And that maybe be wh Jorja chose to not renew when they came about, also the 2004 incident could also be a deciding factor.

But in the end it's her choice and no matter what people say or do it's up to Jorja. Perhaps she already has a deal fo a movie or another show in the works. But good luck to her in her future endevers!

I am very sorry if she is in fact leaving. I didn't particularly love the Grissom romance, but I like Sara a lot.

She can be a real pain, but she is always fascinating.

I just hope they don't say goodbye to Sara with an icky montage, tears and the swells of the string section of the CBS Symphonic Orchestra. Bleurgh!

Not my favourite character but I hope she gets a suitable send off.

If she wants to leave so be it. I get why the fans are sad, but isn't it in her best interests. It's what she wants to do.

I agree with both of you, Adorelo and EricaSJ. She choose to not resign so this is what she wanted. CBS didn't bring down the hammer, so I don't see why some people are getting so bent out of shape with this.

That´s her choice, but as said before "the fans will be sad", the show wouldn´t be the same without Jorja/Sara.

You are correct, the show won't be the same. But it will go on IF she leaves. Shows have replaced cast members for many years, from Mission: Impossible, Star Trek TNG, M*A*S*H, Ironsides, and Bonanza, to CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Monk, NCIS, Law & Order, and Bones. And it continues this season with Criminal Minds and Law & Order CI. Contracts don't seem to mean much these days.

Bones didn't replace anyone...do you mean Goodman? I do wish they'd have him pop up for a guest spot.

Buffy and Angel killed people all the time and went on, although they often came back in that show.

On occasion though a show will bomb after someone leaves...Highlander killed off Richie and the ratings and quality of the show for that matter, nosedived.

Same with the X-FIles. People stopped watching when Muder left, then started when he returned (for 2 epidsodes)

I hope this wont be the case. Though Jorja is cearly amazing, the show CAN go on without her. I hope it does.
