forensics speech

I have to make a short speech at school about something i am interested in and i chose forensics. the only problem is i know quite alot about forensics but i just can't write it down. can someone please give me some ideas on what to write, i need;
an introduction
some information about fingerprints or DNA or something
an interesting case history
and some interesting facts about forensics.
any help will be very much appreciated.

There's a couple of books out there on the history of forensics, if you try searching on amazon or in your local library. They'll cover pretty much everything you need.

I would suggest Locard's Exchange Principle, since it is basically the basis for most forensics.

Maybe you could start with the history of forensics begining with locards pricipal that every contact leaves a trace then talk about dna and fingerprints that everyones in unquie etc good luck

locard seems good for an introduction ... if you want something that explains forensics clearly you can try Forensics for dummies, it's really good
