Episode Title: (#901) "For Warrick" (Season Premiere)

Previously On CSI: Warrick gets in his car to leave, Mckeen stops him to talk to him then after a few minutes Mckeen pulls out a gun and shoots Warrick who slumps over the steering wheel, McKeen wipes down the gun throws it on the seat and walks away.

Currently On CSI:
THE CSI TEAM DEALS WITH THE AFTERMATH OF WARRICK'S SHOOTING. After hearing gunshots, Warrick is discovered slumped over his stearing wheel by a teammate after hearing gunshots, as Warricks life hangs in the balance due to multiple gunshot wounds. - The entire team grieves for their fallen friend while unknown to them the killer, the Undersheriff investigates his the murder. Upon hearing the news an old friend and teammate returns.

The thread is open and I would like to remind people of what was said in the Lab, it will pertain to all Ep discussion threads..

All rules that apply in the lab (page/post 1) and on the board in general apply in these threads as well. Including not discussing the episode/s in any thread that doesn't have a spoiler warning until the last time zone has seen it, we give that time as being 1 am.

As we know there will be shipper scenes we are asking everyone who doesn't ship, who do not like said ship, who do like said ship to please not bait each other in any of the discussion threads, and if you feel baited do NOT respond to it. Look we are just trying to avoid any fighting about it remember feel like a nasty comment coming on, stop and breath, and stick to the reason it is there, to discuss the episode preferrably as a whole. If you want to discuss the ship scene in greater detail or debate it that can be done in SC but I believe you need spoiler boxes until it airs in the last time zone.

Carol Mendelsohn wrote the eppy?? Has she ever written anything before? I can't recall. If she has it's been a while. Interesting.

As for me I'm going to be on a cruise ship in the middle of the Atlantic next Thursday so my viewing of the eppy will be delayed by about 5 days. :(

I have to admit, last season was not my favorite, but the finale kicked me into high gear & I cannot wait to see this episode, it sounds heartwrenching.

I completely agree. I stopped watching after the writers strike. I had the finale on but wasn't paying attention until I heard the gun shots! That's what made me come back to the board!

You know, they really need to stop doing cliff hangers. They didn't before until last season. I hate them. Thank goodness, they didn't do that for Grave Danger.

I can't stand the stress and anticipation anymore. I want to know WHAT HAPPENS! (sorry I had to raise my voice there :lol:)

Why do I think that by the end of the episode, something shocking is going to happen?

I believe she helped write Grave Danger (and together with QT chose George to be buried alive).

I saw a promo last night on CTV but they didn't show a funeral, they just didn't have that song playing in the background so you can actually hear someone standing near Grissom sobbing-which I think it was Catherine.

Here is her Credits which include writing, you can click on the ep and see under writers her name is in there. You can also see her bio there as well. Also at IMDB I counted 45 eps of CSI LV with her name and "writer" next to it.

6 more days! I am so excited to see this episode, I know its gonna be sad and maddening as well. I'd like to see the CTV promo too, does anyone have a link?

I know this sounds weird... but I'm not excited about the premiere. I was massively excited about Miami, but "For Warrick" is going to make me cry. It's one of those episodes that I have to watch but really don't want to.

Same here. I'm anxious yet somber. I bought my Kleenex with lotion (so my nose doesn't look like a reindeer) just yesterday. :(

I'm excited. Reason? Well, I just can't wait to see how the rest of the team reacts to what happens to Warrick. I mean, in the previews, we've seen Grissom and Catherine's immediate reactions. But, I can't wait to see Greg and Nick's as well as Brass', Robbins', etc. Even Ecklie. And I'm anxious to see if Tina will feel bad and blame herself cause ultimately if she hadn't cheated on him (which probably caused the breakup), then maybe he wouldn't have been at that strip club getting involved with Joanna. Joanna might not be dead and Gedda wouldn't have had it out for Warrick, etc...
