Thanks for all the great links everyone. I found this site a long time ago but Heidi does beautiful Paint Shop Pro Brushes. I'm addicted to her stuff. I just wanted to pass her deviant journal page along. There are a ton of brushes on it.

You can find some scratchy textures at 100x100 Textures, at fearher.livejournal.com or at Echoes from Rivendell

Just scroll through the journals a bit and you should find some good textures

Hey all, hows it going?

This is gonna sound like a very odd request, but I'm working on something for the 'Flack's Fygly Ties' project and I was wondering-has anyone come across any tie brushes taht would work in PS? I know, an odd request, but if y'all could help me, taht be super!

Also, DragonflyDreamer, what font do you use on your banner? It's great!

The font I used is called Boomerang. I can't remember if I downloaded it or if it came with the program, but I couldn't find it on Dafont.com when I checked just now.

It's a great font, I use it all the time.

Examples:

I find this font is very nice to put a simple black stroke around (ie example #2). It's a nice trick to make text more visible as well
