Nice new thread
Ann!
First: a very Happy Birthday to you
Hormiga! Hope you have a good one!
@
csimonkey: when you download a font, it's mostly compressed in .zip-format, so you need WinZip to extract this data. (normally it's already on your computer - if you don't have it, here's a link where you can download a free
testversion. You can use it for 45 days, after that you have to pay for it when you wanna go on using it...
check out this link )
After d/l a font, open this file with win zip.
Click on 'Extract' - there you have to choose the folder in which you want to "unzip" the file.("Extract to...") Just as
Eriss said, you have to write
C:\Windows\Fonts
Make sure you've checked the box: "All folders/files in archive" and click on "Extract".
Now the new font should show up in your Windows Font folder and also under fonts in your graphics program. S/t it could be that you first have to reload that program or even your pc before the font shows up, so you can use it.
When you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask
Megan and
Hormiga:
Perhaps just check out
Brush Addicts' Journal, I guess I saw such brushes you're searching for on that journal.
Chloe, I'll come back to you later, will check out the fonts I used asap
ETA: OK, I'm back. The font I used for CaRWash is
"Shinji Blues" and the other one is
"Honey Script". Credit to
