Since this deals with all three CSI shows I'm going to send it to The General Forum.
 
Love Grissom of course! But I also love Mac cause he is so dedicated to everything other than his work! Grissom always has a place in my heart because he made me fall in love with the francise! Lol!

No female characters are on the list, so I selected the last option since my favorite CSI characters are Catherine Willows and Stella Bonasera.
 
Kinda hard to narrow it down.

However, I've got to say, LV, I like Nick the best. Something about him, his empathy, the way the character has grown over eight seasons, and just his overall attitude. They just make his character for me.

On, NY, I like Flack the best. The tough-guy cop with the vicious sense of humor and snark. He's also got a softer side, as seen with Stella in "All Access." He's also not afraid to get rough, even with his friends, as seen in "All in the Family." I wish they'd give him more to do, because he shines with whatever he does.

I don't really watch Miami, so I really can't talk about the characters on there. Horatio and his damn sunglasses get on my nerves, but that's a different thread entirely.
 
That's very short list...

My fave character is Nick so I voted for the last option. From NY my fave is Flack and he's a little bit close to Nick (but not too much). If I choose from this short list I would vote for Grissom.
 
At one time I would have said Horatio Caine, but sadly, not anymore.

Still, Tim Speedle was always a very close second, so he didn't have to travel too far to become my most favourite character :D

Speed is always my favorite, of course.

But I'm curious, why just these characters?
 
would people prefer a poll with all of the characters included since this one has so few? i know when weve done things like this before we have used several polls to narrow down the characters, but with the new board each thread can only have one poll. we can either make a new thread with a large poll, or separate characters into different threads. it would make a more accurate poll and give more to discuss if all the characters were represented on the poll.

please leave your suggestions :)

I think we definitely need a new poll with more characters. There's only five people listed on there. I think it needs more. Also, note that the option with the highest number of votes is the last one, and I don't think people are voting for everyone listed.

There are a lot of Catherine, Sara, Calleigh, Nick, Danny, etc. fans out there. Imo, it does those fans a disservice to leave those people out. I think it should include people from the main credits of all three shows, because anything less would be unfair, IMO. I know it'd be kinda hard to put everyone in, including guest/recurring roles, because then the poll would be nine miles long, but I definitely think that only five people is too small.

ok, i think the most fair thing to do would be to have a thread for favourite main characters. that would include all of the characters currently in the opening credits as of the season finales. then we can have a thread for favourite recurring or past character. which would include former mains who have left. i just need to compile lists of who fits into what category.

ill leave this open for now until the other threads are ready to go.
