If I find money, I don't like to ask whose it is, because just like Dawni's town, where I live, everyone would say it is their money. You have to be careful with where you put your money. my mom almost lost her wallet several times. There is always a lot of money in her wallet so if she lost it, it would be very bad.

I look at it this way, If I lost money, I would want people to return it to me. So, I do the same for everyone else.

Same here. And yes, they check your ID in bank

Anyways, even without that - I'd return it. And money found - Well it's hard to return to anyone, if you don't see who dropped it but giving it to charity or so is a nice idea.

I once found £70 at work on the floor. As I work in a supermarket though I took it to my customer service desk and they kept hold of it whilst they waited to see if anyone came forward. Needless to say I don't know what the outcome was and I didn't see it back if no one claimed it.
