Re: FanFic Poetry thread #2
I just finished my evening stroll, and since tonight was cloudy and obscured the usual view of a very starlit sky (I live in the city when I'm not in school, but when I'm at school I live in the middle of nowhere). So here's a little DuCaine starlight love. Since Miami is a fairly large city, you wouldn't be able to see the stars, but just imagine for the sake of the poem that you can
Among The Stars Did They Espy
The gentle rain subsided
To reveal starlight's majesty
And to her ear he confided
"What lovely sight to see"
Standing on the balcony
Of his palatial abode
Heart swollen in matrimony
Sheathed in a mere silken robe
"Horatio, the stars shine bright
After among them you have graced
For your heart brought out the light
As if into the sky it placed"
"Calleigh, it hasn't always been
For before our love ignited
My heart was dark and hard in sin
Until our hearts were united"
Grabbing his hand she took her place
And stared deep into the sky
Diamond stars illumed her face
Which all around the two espied
