Yes, you wrote this a while ago, but I wanted to tell you how much it touched me. The emotions felt so real and, I can tell you, were damn accurtate. They brought back some sad memories of my mother, but some happy ones too. You allowed me to think about the hard times we went though with this poem, then the happy times that went a long side them.
    Thank you.

Great job with this, and all the others.

Everyone one here is so talented.

You are very welcome, and always remember, Look towards the sky at night, for every star, that does shine bright. Is one more Angel, who has joined the quest, to protect our souls, everyday, as we rest.

From my heart to yours :)

Whoa Linda, that was so beautiful, and yet so sad. It really touched me! You really write from the heart.

There's some great poetry on here guys :) You're all so talented I feel a little silly posting this now lolz. It's Eric's POV about Calleigh. I've not written poetry since school but I gave it a shot.

    Angel

I look at her and my heart it breaks,
She laughs and I melt at the sound she makes,
Walking past, an angel in disguise,
I blink once and twice, she has me mesmerized.

The sun shines off her bright blonde hair,
I look away, she doesn’t catch my stare,
When she smiles the pain runs deep,
And when I dream I see her in my sleep.

I love the sparkle in her bright green eyes,
It hurts me that she doesn’t realize,
That she is the only one for me,
And I just wish that she could see.

I would never ever let her down,
When she wanted I would always be around,
To hold her when the world gets too much,
And comfort her with my gentle touch.

One day I will take her hand,
Sit her down, make her understand,
Tell her exactly how I need her love,
That we’re meant for each other, we’re blessed from above.

And as I wait for the time to be right,
I sit and wait with all my might,
She has to recognize that she’s with the wrong man,
And she’s got to make the decision herself- I understand.

It’s so hard to wait in the wings,
And deal with the torture it brings,
But I know someday it will all be right,
And I’ll be with that angel, her smile so bright.

    LeAnne xx
