Before CSI Miami, I had pretty much ignored watching the show. Outside of once in a great while. Then our local CBS affilliate here near where I live started running CSI Miami Weekends. I became extremely impressed with Eva Larue, the government mole scientist. I heard she was leaving the show. I also watched a CBS 60 Minutes piece on her efforts to convict a wierd perve in California, that had molested her sister in real life. Eva has a great range of talent, that for the producers would really be smart to make what ever deal they need to to keep her on CSI MIami. By the way also heard that Brooke Burke would also be soon part of the CSI Miami cast.

I have altered the title of this thread, as it implied Eva is leaving the show, and I've not heard anything at all that suggests this.
I imagine this is just a false rumour and should be treated as such unless we hear officially to the contrary.

Im a HUGE Eva fan, always trying to keep up w/ all interviews & other things. I honestly don't know how to vote because I don't know who Brooke Burke is & are we voting to say if we THINK she is leaving? Im a tad confused.
From everything i've read is that Ann Donahue really adores Eva & from Eva's interviews, she still just talks as if her character is getting stronger, in the sense that the writers are making her bigger, that is. I don't know for sure, but I haven't seen anything remotely even suggesting that she is leaving. I for one would hope not. I feel like she is the one who has brought some realism to the show. Sure its a lot of drama, but thats what real folks in everyday life sometimes have to go through. I think its great to see character so real & not a 'superhero' image that we have gotten from other characters!

I think it's just that - a rumor - since Eva has done interviews this year talking about what her character is going to do this year.

This is definitely rumor and most likely false. First, Why in the world would an actress leave a high rated show after only two full seasons and a third coming? Especially when it according to her own words is "the highest rated show on TV and the most watched show in television history". That would be a dumb career move. It would be almost as dumb as Dave Caruso leaving "NYPD Blue" after about a year to do movies, all of which bombed at the box office. This is Eva's means of getting her name out there for other things as well, like major release movies like "Lakeview Terrace" My personal impression is that she is smarter than that.
Second-I know who Brooke Burke is. She is a model/TV host. I believe recently had or is close to having a baby. Brooke Burke used to do things like "Entertainment Channels Top 100 Sexiest Bodies" and stuff like that. They did try to get her to act. It was pretty forgettable. Don't get me wrong, Brooke Burke is drop-dead gorgeous, but not an actress.
Third-there have been a number of rumors about Eva Larue and all of them have turned out to be bogus. She has definitely settled in at CSI Miami and I hope she is able to really capitalize on it.

She has mentioned some things about Natalia in season 6, which made me believe she is going to stay and develop.
