No I am thinking that is the fan's first name and then they just used Eric full name. Eric's dad's name is Donald, not Dave.

Eric always looks like he is having a good time at these events.

I hope we get Greg smiling a bit more in some up coming episodes, as I said I love his smile, it lights up a room.
