Oh wow so much belief and trust. Greg truly believes in Ray.
For some weird reason I start to miss "the big dark man of mystery" aka Ray. But more I'll be missing new episodes for some time (they're finishing s11 here tonight and next Monday starts NY)...

Yeah, quite off topic, but I was totally taken by how passionately Greg stood for Ray when Sara tried to convince him about what could've happened.
 
I never understood him defending Ray so much. To me it was out of character for him to defend him so strongly in regards to that case.
 
If Ray and Greg had actually been closer I'd be more alright with it, since they weren't I'm not, imo it would have made more sense for him to be doubting him
 
I don't know, I kind of get it. Greg wanted to think the best of someone he worked with (even though they didn't seem to be close, they were still colleagues).
 
Yeah but he has never so vehemently defended another co-worker like he did with Ray. Look, even when Warrick was possibly thought to have killed Gedda he was as strongly defending him as he was Ray, a guy he knew far less time.
I still think it was a little unlike him.
 
Well I sorta looked up at it as his way to support Ray. Afterall it's not the best day for him.
Yeah I agree, it felt kinda ooc for Greg but who knows how he looked up at all that.
Maybe Greg felt Ray needed to do what he did and just let it be.

Everyone else seemed defending Ray as well (well not Sara exactly).

Really? See I thought he had a decent amount of screentime in last night's episode, certainly miles more than he got between Series 6 - 10. Seeing as he got a ton in the two episodes before I'm surprised he got as much as he did.

I too thought his screen time last night was decent. Sure he was only in one scene for the first half, but then was in at least three more scenes (if not more) during the second half. I gotta say, I wasn't expecting him to be there more than two scenes this episode due to him getting so many scenes in all the other episodes. So, I was pleasantly surprised at how much he was actually in this episode compared to how little I thought he would be in it.
