Yes he really does seem down to earth- sigh.

Oh but i would disagree, he is beautiful...

Many many happy hours of watching interview- thanks Eric if you read this you did your fans proud !

Thanks for all your work finding the pics and interviews folks - I've had a wonderful time with them all last night and today....and most likely tonight, tomorrow....

No he never does disappoint.

When I was digging around for new stuff last night from the Monte Carlo thing, I came across two really old newspaper articles from his high school days. Both come from the Milwaukee Journal Newspaper.
He was like a Dear Abby for High schoolers

And a bit of a activist  I remember him talking about in that one Early Morning Show interview that he got into a bit of trouble in HS but he still was a Honor student so his parents did not fault him.

Nice finds Dizzney! I read about that once, wait let me find it.

Here it is, though you might have already read it:

''As a teenager in Mukwonago, actor Eric Szmanda was a bit of a rebel. After reading Jerry Rubin’s anti-establishment manifesto Do It, he led an anti-censorship campaign when the high school basketball coach tried to ban students from wearing a T-shirt mocking the team.

“I was a little feisty,” he recalls. “It wasn’t that I had a problem with authority, but I had a problem with unreasonable authority.” Szmanda even filed a lawsuit with several other students against the school. “It’s so funny how passionate I was at the time. I definitely pissed off a lot of parents and teachers. I still think of it fondly.”

As a teen, he’d drive into Milwaukee to teen dance clubs like Metropolis and Club Maryland. Later, he would hang out in the Third Ward and go to illegal warehouse “rave” parties, trying to evade the cops. “There was quite a scene going on down there,” he says.''

With all the questions he got asked that we have seen from Monte Carlo, I kept thinking of other things I would have asked him. What would you have asked him if you could have?

I would have asked him if he would want to have a love interest on the show. Or ask him about Riley's character. He did not mention her I noticed.

I noticed that also. I think he was afraid that if he did mention her that people would ask about if there would be a romance between the characters. Some actors really don't like those kinds of questions. What I'm surprised he didn't get asked is about his own personal love life. Reporters are usually really good at asking things like "what do you look for in a girl" and "are you currently dating anyone", but they didn't do this. I bet Eric was glad they didn't.
