That I cannot see, him adopting a kid. He has made absolutely no sign of wanting to do such a thing and I do not see them doing that on the show. I would like him to have a serious case maybe involving a child. We've never really seen him work on one like that were he got really affected. Everyone else has had one.

We sorta did with No Humans involved, Greg was clearly upset about a kid being thrown away like trash. They just didn't delve that much into it. But I agree, we need to see a case that affects him emotionally, whether its a child or not.

Greg adopt a kid? That's a little farfetched, even for Greg. He doesn't even have a steady girlfriend, so why would he want to be tied down with a child? I just can't see it at this time. Perhaps one day in the future when he finally settles down with one woman to love, but of course we'll never see that because the show will be cancelled before that ever happens. I can, however, see Greg tutoring kids in math, physics and chemistry. He'd be an outstanding part-time teacher. Kids would love him because he can relate to them on their level.

I've always considered Greg to be sort of a mini-Grissom...only not secretive, but very open and friendly. One of the things I admire about Greg is that he's not afraid to let his superiors know what he's thinking. He's not shy about telling someone his ideas or theories, and I think that Grissom respects him for that. Whereas we have sycophant, butt-kisser Hodges fawning all over Grissom and other higher ups, Greg just lays it all on the line, whether they like it or not. And his intelligence generally backs up his theories.

Toots, I agree. I've always thought of Greg as a mini-Grissom too. They are so much alike, intelligence, sometimes odd habits and hobbies, like minded genius types. They even shared a love for Sara! But unlike Grissom, Greg is more of a people person, he can get close to people, and share his feelings.

I said recently Greg has even been dressing more like Grissom on some days. But yeah he is definitely like him. I think he is the most like Grissom than anyone else. I've always liked that he stands up for himself too. I always think of that one scene in Season 5 "Harvest" when Greg comes up to Grissom and defends Mia and actually stands up to him.

I liked that scene in "Harvest" too, Dizzney. I enjoyed the way Greg stood up for Mia and pointed out to Grissom that he's going to have to get used to changes in the lab. Another good scene was last year in the episode about the child molester. Greg got the idea to have the gasoline tested, and Grissom practically sneered at the idea, but Greg and Hodges were able to prove to Grissom that the molester had indeed bought the gas. Greg was able to provide the receipt to Grissom. All Grissom could summon up was a soft spoken "Thanks, Greg."

I really hate Grissom in this Episode. The way he acted like He was the only who is trying to find the boy. Everybody there know what to do and they don't need a stressed boss stressing them. Meanly poor Greg who is alread full of troubles.
Grisson already did that in an episode of first or second seanson when he was extremely rude with Greg screaming with him in front of all lab, pushing his car and even destructing evidences when the boy was just doing his work.
Bad you, Grissom. No donuts for you.

Ps. Yeah, I know, my english sucks!

Yeah Grissom always lets cases having to do with kids get to him, same as last season in Burn Out. At least Greg felt comfortable enough to stand his ground by the fifth season when that case came about and Grissom was in his mood. I think that first season one was "Gentle, Gentle" when Grissom blew up at him and he was out of line with Greg in that scene. But Greg has grown into his own now and knows how to deal with him.

Aww, it must only be me then, that can see him with a child. But who said to be a parent a person has to be in a relationship, theres pleanty of single fathers around...

Greg looks up to Grissom that is very clear...

Grissom really annoyed me the way he was so short with Greg. But even though I am not a big Sara fan, I loved the way she stood up for him by telling Grissom he should go easy on him because he has his coroners' inquest coming up and he's under a lot of stress. But I also loved that she was there to comfort him in FannySmackin.

Yeah the only times I could tolerate Sara was when she was in scenes with Greg because they really did work well together.

I got the CSI magazine and put a link to my scans of his interview pages on the picture thread.

I don't think the magazine is out in England yet. After me chasing after it like a nutcase for two days. I've been looking forward to it for ages and I can't believe the UK release is later than the American one. I have to wait even longer now *pouts*

EDIT: It's been confirmed, our Eric is definitely in Season 9 :)

Have a look here and scroll down to Eric's letter :)

Is Eric like the only one who really sends a letter with his autographs? So it seems. he really is the best. He must have been home (family) last week. He always seems to do his fan mail when he is at home.
