I have to admit I squeed a little when I saw Speed's name mentioned in great detail. It is nice to see that they are mentioning him b/c his death has such an impact on all of them and Cal, Eric (especially Eric)were close with Speed. So it is nice that we (after three years) might see a little angst and emotions these two feel about their deceased friend and he is not just being mentioned as he has been that they are inestaigating a particular case that he once investigated.
Time is going tooo slow....someone invent a time machine to take us to the future! There is never a delorean when you need one :lol:

Eric and Calleigh talk about Speed's death. It would also be awesome to see them visit Speed's grave. And if Eric cried, that's it... I would have to rape him. And then Calleigh would shoot me. But I'm pretty sure I'd die happy.

Wow the writers really decided to go deep this time by bringing Speed's name up again! Well I'm really glad they are talking about him cause he is missed! But they really decided to hit Eric and Calleigh hard this time! I have no doubt in my mind that they will talk about Speed with eachother! Maybe we will get to see some emotions spill out, we will see I don't know! Well I'm glad Eric and Calleigh are working together but wouldn't it feel kinda akward because Eric is really hurt by Calleigh's actions and stuff? Wonder how it will turn out...............

Would you guys prefer it if I extended the deadline for the porn-a-thon? I'm having problems with my fic, too, and it looks like no one will be able to make the deadline. We can make it so that it coincides with the season 6 premiere, maybe.
I can't wait to see this. I hope we get to see Eric show some real emotions, and Calleigh consoling him. Or seeing them go to a bar and have a beer in Speed's name. That would be sweet.

Yay! I'm so happy they're INDEED having that talk! Can't wait to see it! *dances* Great chance for Adam and Em to do some angsty acting! Wooot!

I’m glad that he talks to Calleigh about Speedle. I think that it prove that TPTB aren’t ignoring their moments in the past season. I’m sure that they’ll keep on building their relationship in this season. I hope that we’ll see something important.

Sounds like Eric's gonna have a really bad time with the whole Speed thing. I can't wait. Eric angst is always good, especially if Calleigh is there to comfort him.

So they actually get to talk?? I'm so happy about that. Hopefully we get some really good EC scenes with this eppy. The writers seem to be doing a good job with the new season!!

Eric/Calleigh talking is always good. They communicate really well which is great, considering this is Calleigh. I love it when they have heart to hearts. As guarded as Calleigh is, Eric isn't one to open up to just everyone, either. They only seem to be able to be honest with each other.

I think it is great that he is talking to Calleigh! They are the closest out of all the CSIs and it shows that he trusts her to talk about Speed. I really hope we get them to have a nice conversation.

Hmm...I wonder if Eric is reluctant to tell Calleigh he thinks he saw Speed because he's afraid she'll think he's crazy and that the bullet in his head is affecting him, or if it's because he's reluctant to open up to her again. Either way, to me it sounds like a trust issue, and I think it all sparks from the same place. Does he trust her not to think he's losing it? Does he trust her to be there for him if he bears his soul to her again? In the end, yeah, he does. If he didn't, he'd simply take a page from Cal's book and go the "I'm fine, it's nothing" route. But he does talk to her. And that is huge.
And God, am I glad they're having this conversation. I was always upset that Speed's death seemed to push Eric and Calleigh farther away, rather than bringing them closer together. I think that's part of why Eric's never been able to move on from Speed's death - Calleigh wasn't there to move on with him. He was just...kinda left behind while everybody else "moved on" by pretending Speed never existed.

It is just nice to see some frickin continuity..even if it is 3 yrs later!! These two shoudl have had a talk about Speed a long time ago. It is nice to see Eric open up to her even with all the shit that went down in the finale and might still be going on when the season starts.

Of course I doubt even the hose would help, in fact it could actually make things worse...hose sprays water...water soaks clothing...soaked clothing clings like a second skin to their bodies....soaked clothing clinging like a second skin turns them both on even more...turned on even more causes them to makeout even more... Heehee!
