I've been sleeping for less than 8 hours and I come back to 3-4 pages of thread #33 and 6 pages of #34... Now that's a good beginning of a day, right?

The first thing I noticed is that in the promo, when they are kissing (finally!!!) Calleigh's head is turned to the right, and on the picture to the left... That means that either they kiss twice or the kiss last long enough for them to change position... Yeah, I know that it's totally crazy that I'm taking time to think about this, but I'm just a crazy Hiphugger.

The scene in the detention center is just... :adore: I think she's telling him that everything that happened to him doesn't change the way she feels about him. It's so sweet. And IMO, it looks like she's reaching out to take his hand. So adorable.

And don't get me started on running to each other... There was a cut between running and the kiss and their arms were positioned differently, so I think that when they run to each other, they first hug and than they kiss.

Anyway, this promo made me believe that they are together and the kiss really doesn't look like their first kiss. They are really comfortable around each other... I guess we'll just have to wait and see. One more week to go, guys. Remember when it was 3?

Okay, funny thought. When I read Delkolover's post where she says that she can't stop watching the promo, I read the porn and I was like "What did I miss?" Anyway, totally unimportant, but I just had a need to tell it.

Calleigh has wrapped her arms around Eric's neck and she's juuuust about to kiss him, but it hasn't happened quite yet, so we can see her smiling against his lips.

Hey, a question: is it kind of lame that I've already watched the promo in slow-mo? Well, the last 5 seconds of the promo, anyway. :drool: Yeah, it all went by so fast that I felt I needed more time to appreciate it... so I made my DVR play it veeeeeeeery sloooooooowly. And I looooooooved it. :adore:

By the way, since I can't help but interpret facial expressions...

I like the way both actors approached this scene, or at least the 5 seconds of this scene that I saw in the promo. Calleigh smiles into the kiss, as though she's thinking "GOD I'm glad I finally let this happen!" while Eric has a serious, almost reverent look to him as they kiss. And ya know, this doesn't even have to be their first kiss for them to feel like that. It could be their 3rd or their 25th, and I think it'd still make sense for Calleigh to be giddy and Eric to be mesmerized.

I suppose I should go to sleep now. I probably won't, but I'll try.

That promo is just great! It got me smiling, a smile that will last till next week! I can't wait. I don't know about you guys but this week is going to be hard to get trough. It's going to go slow because I want to much for it to be monday yet, well tuesday here in Belgium :scream: .

It doesn't look like their first kiss, you're right unless they're just so excited that it just happens or maybe she said something to him in the detention center. She's beautiful in that scene. Emily is great. The tears...
this means i'll be thinking the entire week on what she may say to him.

It's weird in the past him telling about his relationships to Calleigh, she seemed to enjoy listening to it, like friends...and now...She's falling for him herself...finally

Damn I am at work and not in my cosy office but with my other team. So I can't watch the promo with the sound on. This sucks.

The pictures were already heaven but this promo is like the best thing ever. I love how Calleigh just smiles at him trying to make him feel better through this ordeal. I don't think that anyone with their eyes open could doubt how much she feels for him. Honest even without being a die-hard HipHugger this just screams at you. She never ever was like that with anyone before. This is Calleigh Duquesne who always reigns over her feelings and doesn't like to show them. Here she doesn't care about not being alone in the detention center, she has to say what she has to say and goes for it. Same thing goes for outside and their hug and kiss. She isn't a touchy-feely kind of person and yet she goes all the way not caring if anyone can see them. That's so huge.

I wonder how I will be able to work today and keep it down... I'm so damn dizzy and happy and smiling and I have to deal with my job which isn't so funny right now (I work for a car manufacturer so you know how life is currently).

And YAY of for the new thread but please POST 3 LINES OF ON-TOPIC DISCUSSION EACH TIME. If you have nothing to say, wait until more comes to your mind and PM the people you want to say something to. This is the second time in less than 10 days that I have to write this. I will go on doing it if necessary. That's the one thing I can't accept, like I already said, I love EC too much to see it cheapened.
Another thing this is a EC Thread and as much as I like Rory, this is not a place to advertise and talk about him. There is a specific thread for that. Use it.

And to the nice Mod who came over to warn us, I honestly don't give a crap what the other ships think about EC and us. They can live in the past or in their fantasy world if they want, I couldn't care less. This is Miami as it is written and as it currently is . If they can't deal with it too bad for them. Nothing they say will rain on my parade. I have been waiting for this for too long to care.

I hope I'll be back to normal when I get home tonight. I need to finish that EC smut.

I've just watched the promo few more times (more like a few hundreds) and I have a smile plastered on my face all the time. I keep imagining how the conversation in the detention center is going to go... It looks to me that her line ("It's alright") is not what comes right after his ("My whole life is a lie"). It looks to me that "It's alright" is her response to something else. Watching the promo totally made me forget that Cal is supposed to make that marriage comment... It looks like they kiss as soon as he leaves detention center, so that means that she makes that comment after the kiss. To me, that's a sign that they are more comfortable with each other than they would've been if this was their first kiss. Maybe their conversation when Calleigh goes to visit Eric will give us some hint about what was going on with them and if they are together.

Seriously, the wait is killing me.

The promo was amazing! It's good that they can finally show some good things in it. It's usually kind of bad that way, anyway, I am in love with Calleigh's face when she looks up at Eric like a God.. It's really fun to see it in slow motion! You can really see Calleigh smile in to his mouth, like he said something and she just threw her arms around him. They really are cute. The best couple on TV right now!
