I totally agree about Ryan though I hope they cut him a break, let someone else face heat about the diamonds. I am still holding onto belief that he nor Calleigh are involved, it is just not in their characters to do so.

Was Calleigh mentioned as a possible suspect? I thought it was just Ryan. But I agree; both are too loyal to Horatio and despite Ryan's past problems, he is basically an honest guy

I like Walter too but I agree he did irritate me the way he got on Ryan's case for the envelope with evidence going missing.

He really needs to rein it in a bit; I think Ryan isn't the only one he has gotten snippy with.

I always enjoy seeing the team hang out together after work but I agree it would've been nice had Jesse joined them. I liked when Ryan teased about Eric being the new guy, it was cute and it is good to see them getting along and joking around.

I hope it continues; the Ryan vs Eric smackdown was getting very tiresome.

Glad to see the old Ryan. I hope they finally got rid of that snarky jerk who ate him.

There's also something else: Has anybody else noticed that this is the first epi in a while that the characters looked more natural? They didn't look either hapless and confused or just downright ticked off at the world? I can accept it if they are changing Delko back into a confident, knowledgeable CSI, as long as they do it gradually. I can accept that he'll probably never fly a helicopter with two rounds in his head, but at least this time he didn't walk around with that slack-eyed, confused look. That about drove me nuts!

I noticed that they don't seem as angry at each other as well. Pre-shooting Eric would be nice; add that he was also a happier, easy going guy than the version who is running around now.

Looks like they're gonna set us up for the "betrayal". If the rumors are true as to who it is, they better have a darn good reason! That's all I'll say. All in all, very good epi. I'll give credit where credit is due.

I know who you are talking about, I am interested to see the reasoning behind it myself.

I also love Jake's voice (ya I kno tht sounds a bit wierd, but thts just me) I just can't get enough of it! it's so fricken awesome!

You're not the only one. I've always loved his voice. I'd gladly listen to him read the telephone book cover-to-cover for the sole purpose of hearing him speak continuously. :lol:

I love his voice too! I don't know what it is about it, but I really like it.

Oh Jakey, with is muscles and all. I've missed him, but his voice kinda got to me, lol. And to answer someone's question: no, Eric said that Calleigh didn't touch the jammer thingy.

All in all, a great episode. I enjoyed seeing Jake again and I was glad to see that the new cast members stayed in the background a bit while the older team members took front and center stage. It felt just a bit like the old days- I almost expected Speed to walk in the door in a snarky mood....


It was nice to see everyone also look fit and healthy too, especially Horatio- when ARE they going to get him out that totally black costume look? He can wear other colors quite well and it would be nice to see him do just that!

Hope to see things keep improving; although I don't have a clue as to who on the inside would be the culprit with the diamonds...I sure hope it's not Ryan his character has been toyed and tampered with quite enough this season!

I really enjoyed this episode. It was a good story, there were some good team moments and the screentime was divided really well. I liked the continuity with past episodes ie Natalia's hearing aid, which I had feared had been completely forgotten, and the stuff with Jake.
I was worried that there would be more love triangle drama with Jake being back, but I was pleasantly surprised. I think all the 'romance' stuff was handled well, and kept in the background.
Ryan was looking very hot............!
There cant have been many times when it wasnt H who got the last scene. Good to see something different.

That was a great episode.Jake made his reappearance after a very long time and Eric is back investigating the lab about the missing diamonds.The intreaction between Jake and Eric was great depending on the history between these two.I liked the fact that Natalia found out what was Delko doing in the lab as she was the mole back in season 4 spying the others.Finally we had some comments about Natalia's hearing problems.I'm now looking forward to seeing who stole the diamonds from the lab(I hope that it's not a major character involved).
