Yes, they did meet in L.A. Vogel probably did that to show Eric how unimportant he was to him.

I don't like him with Sam. When the revelation came to light that Sam's ADA boyfriend was the one causing the problems, and Sam thought she was finished, and Ryan offered to help, I was screaming "No Ryan!! Run, don't walk in the opposite direction"!!

Me too - I was yelling, "No, no, no!! You're far too good for her!" (Really upset the dog - he hates me shouting at the TV - thinks I'm shouting at him!) Poor Ryan - he's so sweet with Sam - and what a hug (wish that was me - but I digress ... in a little dribbling heap in the corner). But between that and the trailer for the finale ... I do like seeing Ryan take a leading role, but I don't like seeing him hurt.
If we do get a Season 11, PLEASE no Sam though. He deserves someone much nicer.
