an exceptionally large quantity of episodes has featured short, mostly electronic, fully instrumental musical pieces, mostly during lab work or processing (for example episode #6x22 Time of Your Death - a few minutes before the ending, while Catherine is processing the boots, a really good track is playing in the background; second example - episode #6x03 Bite Me - while Nick is processing evidence). i've been trying to seek out the composer(s?), but to this day, in vain.

there doesn't seem to be any substantial information in the credits nor on the internet. can any of you tell me, is there a specific project assembled for the show's musical part or is there a different author every time? where do i get a list of the songs featured?

okay, i've stumbled upon the name john m. keane. while doing some additional searching, I found a compilation by different performers (beginning with The Who), but not the score.

otherwise my guess is that it is just original music and cannot be found, as with some CSI music it can be a major effort to find some songs and some still haven't been identified.

nope, i hadn't up until now - pretty good list, but the composer's works still aren't listed. thanks anyway.
