While I'm still in a Christina Aguilera frame of mind, here's a song from 'Stripped', which shows just how romantic and sweet Horatio can be when he's with Calleigh, how completely he sees her for what she is, and Calleigh saying to everyone around her why she loves him. This is a song by Lucie Silvas, a very talented pianist and singer. This is a very sweet, romantic song, that could depict them on a beach in the moonlight, dancing slowly... *sigh* :) Beautiful! Also describes the temptation they feel towards each other, and when they both finally give in to their desires... it's fulfilling and they lose themselves in the heat of the moment... hmm, sounds like a poem! :lol: That's how I feel! Hmmm...Nightwish sounds like an interesting band. Unfortunately, they haven't hit the States yet.

This song is about two lovers separated by war, but me being the theorising sneak that I am, I could see it as H and Cal singing woe-songs because they want to be together, but so many things are keeping them apart. Although the man is dead in this song, it could be suggested that H could only feel like he were dead without Cal. I don't know. When I listen to indie rock music like this, it always gets me thinking about H and Cal because most of the time the songs ring a tragic beauty to them much like the delicate relationship between H and Cal.

This next selection would be from H's point of view...he thought he was going to drown forever in sorrow, but the ever-sunny Cal came just in time to make even the obscure aspects of life seem enjoyable. I detect hints of Romanticism, which is my favourite era in literature.

EyeHeartH Love that first song!! Mariah Carey has some great tunes, especially off of her album Fantasy. :) For some reason, that tune makes me think of Calleigh's feelings for Horatio...though I can maybe see it being reverse as well?

This next selection, every time I hear it, makes my heart flutter. It oozes with such a molasses type of love, the slow-dance, slow-kiss kind of love that sends goosebumps to your skin and makes your breathing heavier, that a man like H would be able to deliver. This one is from Cal's point of view obviously. She just can't live without her H :) I'll admit, although I'm more of an indie rock kind of girl, a good country love song will always have a special place in my heart (plus, it also helps that I'm from Texas :D).

EyeHeartH Wow!! :eek: Dead on!! That first song reminds me very much of the relationship Horatio and Calleigh share. She always manages to make him smile or at least try to cheer him up if he's down in the dumps. *nodnod*

I was listening to one of my favorite artists today whose voice and music I can never tire of...Pat Benatar. Deciding to follow your example I have chosen two songs from her album Go! One reflecting each character's POV. ;)

This song to me screams Calleigh; I think it describes her relationship with Horatio excellently (Well from what I have gathered at least having seen only Seasons 1 & 2 and various other episodes incl. some from this Season's), showing that she is always looking out for her Lt. and that she is more than willing to walk that lonely road with him.

So many songs!! :D Great choices everyone!! :) Must listen to all of them sometime!

Here is one of my favourite songs from 'High School Musical', whch has become a major obsession among my friends here in Ireland! This song reminds of Horatio and Calleigh being kept apart, and how people keep saying they can't be together. Oh ye of little faith! They will persevere through these troubled times, and this song is a testament to the strength of their love that transcends time for always. Here's the song:
