It's a busy week for the <I>CSI</I> franchise with four new episodes on the schedule, including two season finales.<p>Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, <I>CSI: Miami</I> starts the week with a big reveal in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season7/dissolved.shtml">"Dissolved"</a>:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>The CSIs investigate the case of a man boiled alive, Julia spirals out of control, and one of the team's darkest secrets comes to light.</font><p></dt></dl><p><Font color=yellow>Matt Earl Beesley</font> has directed eight previous episodes of <I>Miami</I>, including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season7/and_theyre_offed.shtml">"And They're Offed"</a> from earlier this season. <font color=yellow>Corey Miller</font> has 22 writing credits for the show, most recently for <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season7/dead_on_arrival.shtml">"Dead on Arrival"</a>. Karen Austin appeared in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season7/sink_or_swim.shtml">"Sink or Swim"</a> earlier this season. Walton Goggins was in the <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season7/empty_eyes.shtml">"Empty Eyes"</a>. The other actors are new to the franchise.<p><I>CSI: New York</I> airs the first of two new episodes this week on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT. One CSI follows the clues across the globe in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season5/grounds_for_deception.shtml">"Grounds for Deception"</a>:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>When Stella discovers that New Yorkers are being murdered over ancient Greek artifacts, she hands over her badge to follow a clue that leads to Greece and, together with Mac, she uncovers one of the greatest mysteries in history.</font><p></dt></dl><p>The episode was directed by <font color=yellow>Duane Clark</font>, who has helmed four previous episodes of the series. His most recent turn in the director's chair was for the season three finale, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season3/snow_day.shtml">"Snow Day"</a>. Louis Mandylor appeared in the <I>Miami</I> episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season3/crime_wave.shtml">"Crime Wave"</a>.<p><I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> finishes its ninth season this week. The finale, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season9/all_in.shtml">"All In"</a>, airs Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>A cache of missing chips from a closed down casino turn up in Vegas and a string of murders follow, leading Langston to use deadly force for the first time in his career as a CSI.</font><p></dt></dl><p><font color=yellow>Paris Barclay</font> has directed two episodes of <I>CSI</I>, including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/you_kill_me.shtml">"You Kill Me"</a>. The story for "All In" was written by executive producer <font color=yellow>Naren Shankar</font> and <font color=yellow>Phillip Schenkler</font>. Shankar has 40 episodes under his belt (including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season9/a_space_oddity.shtml">"A Space Oddity"</a>), and this is Schenkler's first credit for the series. <font color=yellow>Evan Dunsky</font> and <font color=yellow>Richard Catalani</font> wrote the teleplay for "All In". Dunsky has written seven episodes, including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season9/the_descent_of_man.shtml">"The Descent of Man"</a>. The team loses one of their own in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season5/pay_up.shtml">"Pay Up"</a>:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>When transferring Robert Dunbrook's son from prison to court, the NYPD is ambushed by a group of professional kidnappers who kill a member of the team and one of the CSI's lives hangs in the balance.</font><p></dt></dl><p><font color=yellow>Rob Bailey</font> has directed 25 previous episodes of <I>New York</I>, including "Point of No Return". The story for "Pay Up" was written by executive producer <font color=yellow>Peter Lenkov</font>, who has 17 writing credits for the show (including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season5/yahrzeit.shtml">"Yahrzeit"</a>). <font color=yellow>Zachary Reiter</font> and <font color=yellow>John Dove</font> wrote the teleplay. Reiter has written 17 previous episodes, most recently <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season5/green_piece.shtml">"Green Piece"</a>. This is the eighth time Dove has penned an episode of <I>CSI: NY</I>.
