CSI Level Two
See, that is the way I felt about Sara. I felt like Sara was always chasing Grissom around like a stray dog and that he never really showed interest until Season 5ish. I hoped Sara would get a clue and leave the man alone and pursue Hank more.
I always saw it as a cat and mouse game, then it became a catch and release situation where he let her go, then she came back, and then he let her go again. Too much drama for me personally.
In other words, Sara, an independent and intelligent woman, was reduced to being a door mat! It's like TPTB made her into some sort of masochist. Grissom, who's always by the book, finally giving in to Sara's advances, was just too out of character.
Another reason why I dislike GSR is the fact that Grissom and Sara are cut from the same cloth. They're too alike to be really good for each other. Why put two socially inept people together? Where's the fun in that? Besides, I never saw any real chemistry between the two. It just seemed too orchestrated and too forced for my liking. Bottom line, Grissom and Sara never sparked romantically.
Now I'm a major SMac fan.:shifty: No denying that.:shifty: But I've been doing alot of thinking myself in that department. I can see myself disliking them as a cannon couple.. I don't want to see them go Cannon now. They have such a yin and yang chemistry as great friends/partners. Why ruin that, by making them a couple. Think how boring they would be, when all those little looks and gesters disappear .
So I have to say... Leave them where they are obviously happy. With their little flirts and touches. That's what makes them so Mac/Stella.
Heeeeee, I'm not a fan of Mac/Stella (I'm an Flack/Stella shipper as you know ) but I do agree with you here. I wouldn't want to see my ship going canon either (like it ever will :lol since TPTB would probably just mess it up. A little flirting now and then doesn't hurt. So yeah, why mess with a really good thing?
