Dean Winters Signs On For 'CSI: Miami' Finale

CSI Files

Captain
Former Oz regular Dean Winters has signed on to play the role of Horatio Caine's brother, Raymond Caine, in the CSI: Miami season finale.

According to a report by Kate O'Hara at Zap2It, CSI: Miami will continue to drop clues related to the fate of Raymond starting in the episode scheduled to air on the 2nd of May, 2005. The story will then continue to develop over the next few episodes, leading up to the finale, which will air on the 23rd of May. Zap2It revealed the finale is currently known as "10-7."

In last Monday's episode, "Killer Date," Horatio learned that the man who killed his brother was actually an undercover officer investigating Raymond in a corruption case. More shockingly, he discovered that his brother wasn't dead at all.

Winters already has some experience playing in crime shows. In the gritty HBO drama series Oz, he played no-good Irish criminal Ryan O'Reily, and then crossed over to the police to play a detective on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for a season. Most recently he appeared in the FX show Rescue Me.
