Re: ~David Caruso Thread #4 'A One-way Ticket To HC/DC Pleas

Ah yeah I think you are onto something there, that sounds more like what probably happened and would explain the oddness.

Oh guess what episode of 'Blue' managed to find it's way onto my screen tonight ;) well my housemates have all gone away, what else is a girl to do :D

Re: ~David Caruso Thread #4 'A One-way Ticket To HC/DC Pleas

Ga-ga-ga... Sorry... I just found out something

NYPD Blue season 1 & 2... both will be have NORDIC release (=subtitles in Finnish) Costs 50.95€... *cries* Why... WHY!?
Well... I've had my Blue s1 for 2 years now...or something. I guess this would have been a bit long time to wait
But now I'll consider season 2 :D

I can't believe they are so slow with these DVD releases. Like CSI, most watched foreign show... and so far they've done only 2 season of original (I mean Nordic release what would include subtitles in Finnish and Scandinavian languages) and in March s1 of Miami and s1 of NY will be released (Nordic release)... which is fun because CSINY s1 will start on TV in MArch

Anyways... This DC fandom starts to be bit expensive

...but oh so rewarding Ducky! :D

There was me thinking the UK was slow! I'm too impatient now and just buy them from the US. I'm very glad I bought season 2 of NYPD Blue, even if JK's departure is hard to watch. :( But, 'Trials and Tribulations', scene 1. Just gorgeous! :)

Re: ~David Caruso Thread #4 'A One-way Ticket To HC/DC Pleas

I need to get season 2 of NYPD Blue, too. The only way I could afford it at the moment is if I could somehow twist it to be 'course related costs' and add it to my student loan. :( Have to wait for my birthday.

But I might be getting Mission of the Shark on DVD very soon! :D

Awwww, I'm so jealous... tell me, if it's DVD-quality or just transferred VHS (cause I read, it looked like that...)

BTW, "Hill Street Blues" (first season) is aired in USA, will soon be in UK and DC looks... funny

Re: ~David Caruso Thread #4 'A One-way Ticket To HC/DC Pleas

I wondered if there is another David Caruso out there who is a financial advisor/expert or something similar. Maybe when you search the name, they list the quotes together. Some of them definitely sounded out of place!

yes i faind that have man with the selfsame name David Caruso - it can be my mistake with the quotes, sorry guys.. :(

PS Lucy cool pic. DC and lady - hi look so worried...

Re: ~David Caruso Thread #4 'A One-way Ticket To HC/DC Pleas

I have some shaky memories from s2 and I still remember the scene where he left *sobs*

Oh well.

I could have chase down a few of DC things... no, wait...blue season 2 is only one what is released here and I can have... but instead of it I bought new vid card and 512mv RAM to my own computer :p
...and of course beer.

Hill Street Blues. I remember watching it when they showed reruns some 6-7 years ago, but those were later seasons. I also watched it on Swedish channel (either SVT1 or SVT2) but it was bit annoying because it was late... and everyone else was sleeping so I had to keep volume down and subtitles were in Swedish. See, our livingroom telly was only one where that channel was.
My Thief of Hearts is already taped from SVT1 and those subtitles inSwedish... grrr! ANd DC's hairstyle...

I read that too, but either way I don't mind because I haven't seen it :D Does he die in it? I hope not :(

Re: ~David Caruso Thread #4 'A One-way Ticket To HC/DC Pleas

@ brittany: he does so

but he dies a really heroic death ;) - and there are still ways to "correct" that

Re: ~David Caruso Thread #4 'A One-way Ticket To HC/DC Pleas

David R. Caruso, Ph.D. is a Senior Consultant with Cutter Consortium's Business-IT Strategies and Agile Software Development & Project Management Practices.

 That explains why DC kept talking about refinancing  He's NOT our DC!

I like this quote;
“I was a guy who abandoned a TV show. I didn't care about people. They didn't want to see good things happen to me.”

It sounds so honest and open from him and I think those bad days really taught him a lot. :)

Oh, thanks for the wishes. I helped myself to all the good food/snacks and you know, they give us money in red packets during CNY(Casper knows) So now I'm richer

Awww that's not cool! Btw, what are those two smilies doing to each other?

It does seem like he learned a lot since leaving NYPD Blue, that's why it annoys me so much that people still have their knickers in a twist about his departure. *shakes fist*

Re: ~David Caruso Thread #4 'A One-way Ticket To HC/DC Pleas

John Kelly dies in NYPD???!!! Oh I don't wanna watch that... :(

Re: ~David Caruso Thread #4 'A One-way Ticket To HC/DC Pleas

@ zippy: NO!! DC dies as Cpt. Wilkes in Mission of the shark... :D

Sorry, I mislead you! I was talking about Mission of the Shark. He doesn't die in NYPD Blue.

Oh consoling each other, Docfrog? That makes sense. :D
