Okay, so I checked and, although it's possible I missed a similar topic thread, I didn't see a thread to discuss the lovable David Phillips played by David Berman. (if so, I'm really sorry!)
I'm a huge fan!! And, while I'll admit that my love of Super Dave may be a bit extreme, I figure there has to be someone else enamored as well.
So...favorite David moments? Lines? General love for him?

When (someone, I forget who...) walks into the morgue and he pulls this bone out of a boiling pot and says "Im cleaning the pelvis."

Ha, Super Dave. You just gotta love David. It's so funny how he has such an obvious crush on Sara. And doesn't he always call Grissom "sir"? He seems to be too timid to be a coroner, seriously, I can't fathom how he's not squeamish at all. Tons of respect for the man.

I love David! :) Two of my favorite scenes are:

1) In "Viva Las Vegas," when he's in the morgue, and he slowly creeps up on the body of the "alien" victim. :lol:

2) In "Crow's Feet," when he walks in on Cath feeling Nick's muscle. Poor SuperDave. :lol: :lol:

Another good SuperDave moment is when he walks in and finds Doc Robbins about to use a new saw-thing to open a guy's skull. He gets to close and doesn't have his visor down, so when Robbins turns on the saw, David gets splattered with blood! :lol:

Aww, I love David. My favorite moment is in Bully For You, when he has to work on the decomp. Sara and Nick have to get out of there cause it's so smelly, and they bitch about it through the whole episode, and yet David stays to clean up the mess. He does it without complaining.

YEAHH!!! and when Sara and Nick get out of the room..there`s a moment where Sara looks through the window and sees David doing his job..and it`s that moment that you go..*awwwww* :D

David`s AWESOMEEE!! he`s soo cute! LOL

Woo, David Love. I love this part in Getting Off from Season 4.

CATHERINE: Dave, what's up? You find something?

DAVID PHILLIPS: I was just thinking I wouldn't be caught dead in those shorts.

He has the most random lines, I love it. And I don't think the poor man could be more obivious with his crush on Sara.

Didn't he at some point say he was shopping for a wedding ring? Does that mean he's married?! No! He's mine! :D

Maybe I just hallucinated that bit, I'll be the first to admit that I have a horrible memory. Does anyone else remember anything about SuperDave being married?

He has the cutest crush on Sara. Although I didn't feel bad for him when Sara was telling him how to get women (lose the glasses, etc.). That broke my heart. I felt so bad for him.

He's gotta be one of my favorites though. He's hilarious. His lines are so random and the way he says everything. He's great.

Also, I don't remember him shopping for a wedding ring, but I could be forgetting. But I don't think so.

I remember that! I don't remember the episode, but I think he was telling Catherine about picking out rings. So basically, SuperDave has more of a social life than most of the CSIs. :lol:

I so love him!!! the random lines are the best. Gotta love when Sara has the spontaneous combusion theory and Warrick says something about David only saying something because he has a crush on Sara and David says: No, that's why I wore a clean coat. :)
As nervous as he gets around the living, he's usually pretty composed around the dead....loved Crow's feet when he had to contend with a possible quarentine situation!

Dave cracks me up soo much!!! he is such a great comic relife on the show. i look always look forward to seeing him every week he's soo adorable.

My fave Dave moments are in "Fur and Loathing", "Bully For You" and "Viva Las Vegas".

did anyone notice if they've ever watched the extras on the S4 DVD that David Berman is Josh Berman's brother? i never noticed that until until i watched the DVD extras they look soo alike and sound alike as well.

I think the episode where he says they're shopping for a ring was Ch-Ch-Changes, when they were looking at the dead woman's ring on her finger.

I love Super Dave, he just makes me go "AWwwww.. he's soo cute!" I loved the whole Super Dave and purse scene in Crow's Feet. :D
