Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"
[Jenn slips note under the door]
Well, I am back and guarding this door with my life, still passing you both letters (by the way, is it getting crowded in there from all that paper yet?).
Anyway, let's cut straight to the chase, shall we?
Danny: You like Lindsay. You have a crush on her. And when she found out from Hammerback, she grinned like a giddy school girl. You thought she looked gorgeous when you saw her during that subway surfing case. You were nervous because you thought she asked you out on a date that night at Cozy's. You've asked her out to eat at least three times already. You ate bugs just to impress her, and you comforted her when she was upset about Stella. You think it's attractive when she's angry, and you have never met anyone like her. You know she's smart, beautiful, and talented. But more than that, she's unique.
Ahem.
Lindsay: You first thought that Danny was a total jerk when you met him at the zoo. You both studied each other while processing that case, and he christened you as "Montana". You say that you hate it, but it really makes you feel special. You've asked him to help you out with an experiment which required him to carry you in his arms, you've proved him wrong by eating a fried spider, and you've felt flustered when he held your hand. I saw that smile when he said that "he might have to marry you". You went to him first with the DNA results from the Tanglewood case, you were terrified that he was trapped in a panic room, and your face was full of concern as he got his badge and gun taken away. You've never met anyone like this city boy, and that's because you've never opened yourself up to the possibility of a relationship with someone the polar opposite of you.
Both: TAKE THE FREAKING PLUNGE ALREADY. Boy likes girl, girl likes boy, boy and girl realize this due to extremely observant and wonderful fangirls, and boy and girl kiss.
Simple as that.
Thank you, and now I am off to find out where my fangirl friends have taken Flack.
Until next time,
Jenn
