Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

Personally I don't need EVERY single moment these two have on screen but their first kiss would be a must. In my mind I imagine it like this...

Lindsay: "Hey Dan-" [Walk in to see him flirting with the new girl; Danny looks up quickly as Lindsay backs out] "Never mind"
Danny: Lindsay? [He smiles to the new detective, saying sorry, as he follows Lindsay out] "What the hell was that?"
Lindsay: "Nothing, I was going to see if you wanted to grab a late dinner then maybe swing by the hospital to see Flack but don't worry about it. Night Danny." [Brushes past him, out of the locker room, past the new girl and into the pouring rain of New York]
Danny: "Oh, now she wants to eat with me." [Slams his fist against a locker before taking off after her.] "Montana." [She's walking away from him but he knows she heard him and he jogs up to her and grabs her arm.]
Lindsay: "What?"
Danny: "Whoa back up there; why are you acting like this?" [He licks his lips because she's looking up at him though wet eyelashes with rain water dripping off her]
Lindsay: "I'm not acting like anything just go back inside Danny, I'm sure Jennifer is waiting for you." [He laughs out loud; she looks at him like he's crazy]
Danny: "You aren't jealous are you Montana?" [He’s still holding on to her arm; Lindsay looks down blushing]
Lindsay: "Don't flatter yourself Messer."
Danny: "Oh my God you are!" [She pulls away from him]
Lindsay: "No I'm not; why would I be?"
Danny: "I was asking myself the same thing since you have no reason to be." [She looks up at him questioningly]
Lindsay: "What?"
Danny: "For a CSI Lindsay, you're pretty slow." [And he leans down and kisses her, smiling when she kisses him back and pulls her into his body; she tastes like rain water] "Do you get it now?" [He's whispering and still has his hands around her when they pull away]
Lindsay: "I think so but we might need to try again, just to be sure." [She’s smirking at him and he smiles back, leaning down again to kiss her] :D

If only.....

Oh, I love that scenerio, Girlygirl ! And I can actually picture that happening. So full of angst and exciting at the same time.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

Oh, that was cute Girlygirl!!! Great scenario. I wish it would happen that way on the show!

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

That's a good scenario, Girlygirl, but I don't think it would happen on the show -- it would totally tear the focus of the show from forensics into romantic drama. I think TPTB would probably turn the first kiss into something observed by a fellow CSI instead of the main focus, because they wouldn't want to make the show into a soap opera.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

Angsty!Twin -- I agree with you, Bring on the angst! :D

GirlyGirl -- I completely love that.

pizzapie -- MORE! :D

loved that scene....*sighs* a girl can dream

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

CSIKatie, love the little excerpt of dialog you have from "Zoo York." The first banter between DL... Mmm. I love the chemistry Lindsay has with Mac. So good.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

You know, a lot of people are making this Jennifer character out to be either: A) the bad girl who flirts with people or B) the cause of something bad on the show. And I don't mean to diss you all, but maybe it's just the part of me that sees the good in everything, but I see major potential here.

Think about it: another female on the show means another perceptive person. What if something as subtle as this happened:

[Danny walks out of the room, frustrated with a case he's working, leaving Jennifer and Lindsay together]

Jennifer: What's wrong with him?
Linday: I think the case got to him.
Jennifer: [looks surprised] Oh! I thought maybe the two of you had a fight.
Lindsay: [puzzled] Why would you think that?
Jennifer: Because, I mean, sometimes couples have fights, and...
Lindsay: [flustered, blushing a little bit] Oh, no, Danny and I aren't...we're not...
Jennifer: [surprised] Oh, well, I just assumed. [walks out of the room leaving baffled Lindsay in her wake]

So, Jennifer could = good, right?

 That would be funny!

I'm actually looking forward to her. The more I think about the addition of a new character, the more I want one there. I think it could be a good change. Though, I would be upset if she got in the way of our D/L!

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

That scenario makes sense,LadeeBear. I'm just a little hesitant to accept the new detective because I'm attached to Flack -- he's my favorite character on the show, basically. But I hope Angell is only going to be working the A-case while Flack is recovering. And as for flirting, she could cause D&L to admit their feelings for each other, so it doesn't matter to me either way.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

Awh, screamingpoet, no one could ever replace Flack. He'll be on cases again before you know it. I think maybe the new detective will be a minor character, more of a touch-and-go deal. But then again, did CBS even confirm that there was going to be a new character? See, I'm still unsure about that since we don't know who is playing her...when the producers want us to know something important, they'll tell us.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

I'm thinking she'll be a minor detective -- after all, how many have we seen? Vicaro, Thacker, and Maka -- but I just want Flack to be okay and on the job again.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

LadeeBear - I would love to see that conversation play out on screen. And the best thing about it is that it's something which can realistically happen.

Re: Danny/Lindsay #9 - "Even Hammerback Knows"

MO, thanks. That's what I figured. As much as I would love to see Danny and Lindsay confess their feelings to one another and then get married and have pretty little babies, the fact is that from the perspective of Jerry Bruckheimer and any other producer of this series, CSI is not meant to be a romantic-drama. Now, what they did with the end of s6 of LV is...well, abrupt, and I don't want that to happen with D&L.

So, IMO: I think it's better if things stay just the way they are on-screen with DL.
