I wondered when this thread would kick off. I have two songs that always make me think of this pairing.

While I know that this thread is well over a year old, I finally sat through this song in the car the other day and then it hit me... I can TOTALLY see Flack singing this song (and dancing along) in his squad car on the way to a scene.

:guffaw: Dude! I wrote Flack singing that very song in one of my Danny/Flack stories! So nice to see I'm not the only one who thought the same thing.

I has a song that I think fit D/F very well at the moment. It's Realize by Colbie Caillat. I can hear Flack singing this to Danny:

Oh my word there's a song thread for the boys?! :eek::lol: I had to look twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things. :lol: Anywho here's my contribution the song is by Lenny Kravitz its called I'll be waiting. Whenever I hear it on the radio it makes me think of Flack's undying devotion for his kinkapoo, my boyfriend now refers to it as my kinkapoodle song whenever its on:lol:. Here's an extract from it.

Awww, these are all so perfect for the boys! :D Flack just needs to serenade Danny to get him to wake up and realize who he's meant to be with. :D

I don't have exact lyrics off the top of my head, and I may have mentioned it up thread, but "Sewn" by The Feeling is perfect. The singer is addressing "Danny Boy" and tells him to "shake that ass and misbehave." And he also sings, "You've got me sewn." It's definitely a perfect song from Flack to Danny.

Most of the songs do seem to be from Flack to Danny...I can't really think of any from Danny to Flack. Maybe "I'm Sensitive" by Jewel? :lol: :D

^I love that song! It's so romantic, and the melody is just beautiful. It's also pretty darn sexy--I wonder if Flack has ever played it for Danny, and started putting the moves on him while it was on. :devil: I can definitely see that. :devil: The lyrics really fit the way Flack never abandons Danny, and never gives up on him. And "you're so much better than you know"? Totally sums up the way Flack feels about Danny.

That is a great song! Very nice find of lyrics there. :D It fits them so well, especially, "You're the secret that I keep," and "You don't know the greatness you are." I'm thinking this is Flack singing it to Danny.
