Danny/Angell: Two Hot Detectives = Double the Fun!

I am a Danny-Lindsay fanatic but I like Det. Angell. I actually see a conversation between him and Danny where Danny would just stare at her and have flashbacks of Aiden. And she'd go "What are you looking at?" and he'd say "Nothing. You just, uh, you remind me of someone".

And after this week's Lindsay Run Cold, I mean Love Run Cold episode, I think they could open up something between these two. Although if I was Flack and Hawkes, and Danny was getting all the girls, I'd raise a flag...
 
Well, I don't think he'd compare her to Aiden. I don't really see the similarities myself, and for someone who was a close friend of Aiden's, I'd say he would be even more aware of the differences. I mentioned him having a momentary shock when first seeing her for a fic, but this is meant to be when he's tired and emotionally drained and catches a glimpse of her out of the corner of his eye. I'm sure there are a lot of women who look a lot more like Aiden than Jennifer does, so I don't see that as an issue. In fact, in "Not What It Looks Like" I'd say that Jennifer looked even less like Aiden than she did in the premiere. *shrug*

As for the "Love Runs Cold" speculations, let's be fair here. We don't know exactly what's going to happen with Danny and Lindsay, if anything is going to happen at all, so I'm not holding my breath just yet. I can write a wealth of Danny/Jennifer fics that take place between the time they meet and next weeks episode, so I'm going to follow this ship regardless (and, you know, fanfic can always mold facts from the show into something convenient ;)).

Of course, I wouldn't want Danny to end up with Jennifer just because Lindsay dropped him--that wouldn't be fair to Jennifer. She might be a new character, but I'm not crossing my fingers for a hook-up on the rebound just to get this ship on the show. I don't ship for that. We get 42 minutes of their lives each week, I like that fanfiction can fill in the rest. ;)

As for Flack and Hawkes being upset--I doubt it! :lol: Those two hotties have their fair share of ladies fawning over them. :lol: Flack's getting a lot of phone numbers from girls after what happened in "Charge of This Post" (and I'm sure he wasn't lacking for dates before that ;)), and Hawkes is a sexy doctor. They don't need to steal chicks from Danny. :p :lol:
 
I liked Aiden and I like Jennifer. In regards to Jennifer and Aiden, they are both stunning women and strongwilled, but other than that they are not exact replicas. Not a D/L shipper, so that's why I'm appreciative in the qualities of what Danny and Angel bring.
Danny can kiss for instance, I make up a name, Karen, but as long as he's in flirtatious mode, and not in a committed relationship or married, and somehow him and Jennifer end up striking a romantic chord I can be for them as a potential pair.
 
I'm a big D/L fan, but I could see these two together, and if this happened instead of D/L (I'd be pissed for a while) but I wouldn't mind this. I like Jen a lot, I like Danny a lot, so these two together wouldn't be too bad...
 
bklynCSIfanatic, you make a good point about how it's still fun to ship characters even if one is in a relationship. What's that saying? "Nothing is set in stone until you're dead," or something like that. :lol: So, even if a character is dating someone else, it doesn't mean you can't still ship. Some relationships just don't last, and it's not always a bad thing. Sometimes people just make a mutual decision or something. *shrug* In any case, if I see something there with Danny and Jennifer, I'll still go with it. ;)

Well, Radical, I agree with you that these two together is good, but I'm hesitant to want them on the show. D/F I can think of independent of the show because I don't think the writers are going to go there, but this pairing is a more of a possibility--and that isn't necessarily a good thing for this girl. :lol:
 
I'm hesitant to want them on the show too, personally, Peyton and Mac is good enough for right now. If Jen sticks around long enough and these two seemed all into each other, these two would def. be my next ship to "praise". But things can stay the way they are, we'll let time take it's toll. And yea, ANY girl with Danny isn't a good thing-- :lol:
 
I like this ship. I liked Jennifer from the beginning. She has great chemistry with Danny and Hawkes but I just see her with Danny. Am I the only one who didn't get the Aiden connection? When I watched People With Money I never even thought she looked like Aiden. It never crossed my mind until I saw it in the NY threads.

Ok, I guess they are similar because of the hair but there is a big difference between them. For me it was because I never saw Danny and Aiden as a potential couple. However, I can see Danny and Jennifer as a couple. The only other person on the show (besides my love for Danny/Flack) that I could see Danny with was Det Maka.

I certainly hope Jennifer sticks around for the season. She is a bright addition to the cast. I'm just waiting for more Danny/Jennifer interaction.
 
Yeah, Mac and Peyton together is enough romance on NY for me, thanks. :lol:

I don't have a problem with Danny in a relationship, aside from the fact that he's such a drama queen :p, but my problem lies with the possibility of the show concentrating on the romance instead of the forensics. I wouldn't mind Danny dating a peripheral character, that we would rarely if ever see, but a main character is a bit iffy. And Jennifer might just be a temporary detective, but she's still a pretty big character. *shrug* And so I wouldn't want to see this ship on the show at the expense of the CSI work. :)

But I still love it, and I'm going to ship it here on the message board. ;)

No, 1CSIMfan, you're not the only one who didn't see the Aiden thing. I didn't notice it until I'd read the comments here on Talk and then re-watched it. But even then, I think it was just a 'the top of her head kinda looks like Aiden's' thing for me. :lol:

I could see Danny/Maka as well, they had great chemistry. Danny is just a good guy to ship because he connects with so many people. :lol: What I saw between him and Jennifer in "People With Money" was very friendly and comfortable, rather than overtly sexy--which is what Danny/Maka was like for me from the get-go. :lol: That very first scene, you knew he had a thing for her. ;) Maybe that's why I like the idea of Danny and Jennifer being friends first. It would slowly develop into something romantic. And that lends itself to lots of nice fanfic, which I'll write if my muse ever picks a story and runs with it. *pokes muse* :lol:
 
I don't think you have to worry about Danny getting serious anytime soon. So far they're going with the theme of Danny finding the women in his orbit charming and attractive to talk to.

Which I like because it always leave the suspense of will they or won't they, without it being suddenly intense and angsty. That's why while I could see a likely attraction between Danny and Jennifer, I prefer they keep it lighthearted banter.

Far as her status on the show goes, she could be an addition to the team like Frank on Miami, and Vartan on LV.

ITA about Danny/Maka they had chemical vibes going on there.
 
danny seems to go with a lot of characters ;). i can't see the new season over here but from what yous are saying it could work if she's kinda like aiden. wonder what the kids would look like :lol:. faylinn- great fanfic :D

Exactly. I'd love to see them in more scenes together, but what I'd really love to see is them just joking with each other and being friends. I'm really interested in how Danny might slowly develop a relationship with someone he cares about. Personally, I don't think Danny is receptive to a 'serious' relationship at this point, but if he was friends with someone and slowly had his feelings become something more... ;)

I hope they keep her around. Aside from "People With Money," we've really only seen her in scenes with Mac. I'd like to see her work with the whole team more, to get a better feeling for her character (fanfic, yesssssss :p).

Absolutely. It makes him so easy to ship all over the place. :lol: And the easy way he worked alongside Angell in "People With Money" just made me all kinds of happy. :lol:

Danny and Angell had some marvelous screen time this evening - together even!! When they were in that porn shop, I suggested that they put on a peep show for Stella, but I don't think that TPTB heard me. I'll have to fix the antenna so they can hear more clearly.

I love when these two are in scenes together because it's just such a natural, friendly chemistry there. I can easily imagine it developing into something more very naturally over time. :D

But I must say, I noticed that Angell had on a high-necked shirt tonight. Was she perhaps covering up a love mark from a certain randy CSI? :devil: Naughty little bunnies.

Danny is definitely going to need some love after that episode though, it was very intense for him with the Shane stuff. Angell, my darling, go to him. ;)
 
She can't help but find Danny boyishly charming with attitude. I noticed how Danny made it his business to tease her. He knew he wanted a pretty smile from her.
