Yeah, Mac and Peyton together is enough romance on NY for me, thanks.
I don't have a problem with Danny in a relationship, aside from the fact that he's such a drama queen
, but my problem lies with the possibility of the show concentrating on the romance instead of the forensics. I wouldn't mind Danny dating a peripheral character, that we would rarely if ever see, but a main character is a bit iffy. And Jennifer might just be a temporary detective, but she's still a pretty big character. *shrug* And so I wouldn't want to see this ship on the show at the expense of the CSI work.
But I still love it, and I'm going to ship it here on the message board.
No,
1CSIMfan, you're not the only one who didn't see the Aiden thing. I didn't notice it until I'd read the comments here on Talk and then re-watched it. But even then, I think it was just a 'the top of her head kinda looks like Aiden's' thing for me.
I could see Danny/Maka as well, they had great chemistry. Danny is just a good guy to ship because he
connects with so many people. What I saw between him and Jennifer in "People With Money" was very friendly and comfortable, rather than overtly sexy--which is what Danny/Maka was like for me from the get-go. That very first scene, you knew he had a thing for her.
Maybe that's why I like the idea of Danny and Jennifer being friends first. It would slowly develop into something romantic. And that lends itself to lots of nice fanfic, which I'll write if my muse ever picks a story and runs with it. *pokes muse*
