I agree totally. Why not have Lindsay respond to his proposal with more than just 'no' - like her reasons for saying no.

Well, I didn't hear Danny's reasons for Lindsay to accept his rushed proposition either...

The point was that Lindsay did give reasons for why she said no but they put it in another scene. It could have easily been one scene and would have been better and made more sense in one scene. I agree with that assessment, btw.
