Great pictures of Mac and Aubrey. He looks so happy. It appears he's not trying to hide this relationship from anyone at the office! I don't usually rate the Stella-centric episodes at the top of my list but this one could be interesting.

^Looks like Aubrey brought lunch. Guess they've got to move things along in order to get the relationship established if a twist is indeed coming before season's end.

It's interesting....there're probably a somewhat limited number of ways that they can work Aubrey into the normal flow of an episode....Mac gets a call while they're on a date. Aubrey comes to his office for some reason. Mac goes to the ER becasue someone is hurt. A crime interrupts one of their dates. Aubrey becomes involved in a crime (witness or target). I suspect we'll see some or all of those scenarios before all's said and done.

Looking forward to Stella's episode -- although it looks like a bit of the same old, same old. Hard to see Stella's life in danger once again and usually when she's on her own, too.

Considering she was bumped into I'd say clearly it was an accident, and the initial note was left at a place she knew he was a regular. She didn't have to track him down and she didn't ask him on date. She just thanked him for being nice.

As a matter of fact Mac looked like all was settled on his way out the door!

I do think it's going to be tricky, finding ways to integrate Aubrey, but I've gotta admit I'm looking forward to seeing how they do this. With the exception of Frankie way back in S2, I think it's the first time we've seen a relationship involving someone outside their (way too exclusive) sphere of NYPD...and well, since in real life it's more likely these characters would date outside of work, I wonder if it's possible to actually show that in a believable way.
