Ok, here's a shiny new spoiler thread to continue where our previous thread left off. To start with, here are the relevant spoilers for the rest of the season so far, copied from the "Just the Facts" thread.
Episode information:
Miscellaneous information:
~ Kathleen Munroe was cast to play Flack's sister Sam, who appeared in "Veritas" and will be back later in the season.

Ok, now let's get back to discussing the new season! As always, spoilers can be easily located in the Just the Facts thread so you don't have to wade through the discussion to find anything.
Episode information:
5.02 "Page Turner" (Spoiler report)
~ It appears to be a one-case episode
~ The team ends up dealing with multiple deaths
~ It also looks like Sid will be in danger
~ There's a guy who does graffiti as 'art', and his current canvas of choice is beautiful women. One of the women ends up dead (they show the guy a crime scene photo, so I assume she's dead and not just sick). Danny and Stella go into the guy's studio with CDC techs, and they take geiger counters with them--so I'm assuming that the woman had radiation poisoning or something? I'm sorry that I don't make much sense, but I'm making assumptions with some of this.
~ Adam is mentioned as well--he used a special database to identify the artist by his style of graffiti.
5.03 "Turbulence" (Spoiler report)
~ Apparently, Mac was on a flight to Washington to testify, but a United States Air Marshall was murdered on his plane, and changed his plans. The vics gun and ID are missing and he wasn't listed on the manifest.
~ Stella goes to the batting cages.
~ Adam is in this episode.
~ 1CSIMfan, you'll be interested to know there's a character named Rhonda in this episode.
5.04 "Sex, Lies and Silicone" (Spoiler report)
It looks pretty much like a one case episode, and Sinclair is back. The team are investigating the death of a woman named Elaine Steele. In the course of the investigation they are looking for a life size silicone doll. Stella, Flack and Lindsay visit a factory that makes them, and later the team question some of the doll owners. I think that may be the source of some amusement and disbelief throughout the episode. Flack and Lindsay in particular have a potentially humourous exchange about the dolls. Everyone seems to be on the case, Danny and Flack look to have some good screentime and do an interrogation together. Also, Hawkes meets up with Greg, an old college friend, and despite his initial friendliness, Greg later asks Hawkes to compromise some evidence in the Elaine Steele case.
5.05 "The Cost of Living" (Spoiler report)
This looks to be a one case episode, however I've only briefly glanced at the spoilers. It seems that the team are investigating the death of an archaeologist, but he is not quite who he appears to be.
Whilst investigating the case, Stella makes a visit to the Greek consulate.
5.06 "Cuts" or "Enough" (Spoiler report)
~Angell is there!
~I see Adam's name as well.
~It appears that three drug dealers have been gunned down in separate places before they are set to stand trial.
5.07 "Dead Inside"
Flack's sister Samantha is in this episode. Danny hasn't left for vacation, so he's working a case.
Angell and Adam are in this episode as well.
The victim owned a business that relocated houses. He was found dead in a Victorian house that was being moved from Staten Island to the Upper East Side. His face was bashed in.
Everybody is on the same case.
Angell and Lindsay both meet Samantha.
5.08 "My Name is Mac Taylor"
There are multiple people with the name 'Mac' in their name. There's Macdonald Taylor, Machiko Taylor, Mackayla Taylor and Mackinley Taylor, all involved with the case. There's a woman named Melinda who was killed and a person wanting a "Mac Taylor" dead. While on the Brooklyn Bridge, Adam goes to see Stella and asks Stella if she wants to grab some pizza.
Danny and Flack share a couple of scenes together.
5.09 "The Box"
~ The crew at an auto wrecking yard notices something dripping out of a car they just crushed - it turns out there was a body inside. It's a young Jane Doe, and they trace the car to the owner. The owners are a young couple with a newborn baby, and they say that the car was stolen.
~ Danny and Lindsay find a guy locked in the truck of a car at the wrecking yard, and he tells Flack (who then tells Stella) how he got there - apparently he and some buddies broke into the yard to play gladiators and they shoved him in the trunk. But they ran before they could get him out because they saw headlights and didn't want to get caught. (That should be interesting. )
~ Sid and Sheldon have a scene where they talk about how the job affects them and that it never gets easier.
~ Danny sees Lindsay leaving a clinic - she rushes off to avoid him.
5.10 "The Triangle"
Apparently Danny is late for work, he calls Lindsay. Other than the name of the episode that is all I know at the moment. As soon as there is some more information about this one I'm sure it will be posted.

Miscellaneous information:
~ Word is that Rikki Sandoval (Jacqueline Pinol) may return for multiple episodes in season five.Question: Any word on whether Michaela McManus (Lindsey) is returning to One Tree Hill next season? — Sam
Ausiello: Based on the finale, I'd say there's a 33.333333 percent shot, right? Truth be told, no final decision has been made yet. Wisely, McManus isn't twiddling her thumbs waiting for producers to decide her fate. The up-and-comer has booked a juicy guest stint on CSI: NY to air next fall. She'll play a flight attendant who gets caught up in a hijack scheme and ends up helping Mac.
~ Kathleen Munroe was cast to play Flack's sister Sam, who appeared in "Veritas" and will be back later in the season.
According to Ausiello:
Gary Sinise and Co. are taking a little detour to Nellyville this fall.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that rapper and occasional actor Nelly is joining CSI: NY for a multi-episode arc. The Grammy winner will play a club owner who serves as a confidential informant to Mac and his team.
"He's a great actor," gushes executive producer Pam Veasey of Nelly, whose only major thespian credit to date is 2005's The Longest Yard. "He really stepped up."
In other CSI: NY news, in a piece of stunt casting that has the words "Danny/Lindsay montage" written all over it, Maroon 5 will make a cameo in this season's second episode, airing Oct. 1.
From TV Guide:
With Rikki coming back, is there any hope for CSI: NY's Danny/Lindsay fans? — Hayley
Matt: I myself would answer you, but why not let Carmine Giovinazzo give you a first-hand status report on that slow-going romance? "Right now, I'm sorry to say, it seems to be really stagnant. The brakes are slowly being pressed, I believe." And mind you, he hasn't even started filming those new episodes featuring Jacqueline Pinol's Rikki.
From the "Fall TV Preview" (September 12) double-issue of Entertainment Weekly:
Bucking the trend of crime shows that focus solely on the workplace, exec producer Pam Veasey says for season 5, "we decided we would bring the audience into moments when [the characters] go home. We're introducing relationships like brothers and sisters" - specifically, the bad-girl sister of Eddie Cahill's Detective Flack, who'll be played by Kathleen Munroe. Veasey says CSI: NY wants "to be very hip, very youthful, very contemporary, so Maroon 5 open up our second episode, performing. And we have Nelly in our episode 3, playing a confidential informant." Yep, nothing says "hip" like Maroon 5 and Nelly!
From E!Online:
Christina: All this "Rikki is coming back to CSI: NY" talk is very nerve-racking to Danny/Lindsay fans. Can you dig up any hopeful news for us? Or just make some up!
OK, I can tell you that a show insider told me, "Danny and Lindsay's relationship will continue stronger than ever with a little bump along the way." And I will let you all decode that phrasing for yourselves, especially in light of the Rikki pregnancy talk

CSI: NY
Returns September 24, 10/9c, CBS
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Where we left off After being duped by a murderous bank robber (Elias Koteas), top cop Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) was taken hostage and driven off to parts unknown.
- What's next Left for dead in the Hudson River by the perp, Mac is found by his frantic team, and, furious at the deception, he pursues the killer-who taunts him every step of the way as more bodies pile up.
- CSIs at home "We're going to spend more time finding out how the job changes the characters' lives outside the office," says executive producer Pam Veasey. Stella (Melina Kanakaredes), for one, plays on the NYPD softball team, where she could reach home base with a ballpark rival, a hunky firefighter (Ethan Erickson). Hawke (Hill Harper) learns something about his past from a friend that could affect a case, while both Sid (Robert Joy) and Adam (A.J. Buckley) face major life crises.
- Who's in Danny's (Carmine Giovinazzo) old fling Rikki (Jacqueline Pinol) returns with a big secret that could rupture his romance with Lindsay (Anna Belknap). Det. Don Flack (Eddie Cahill) reunites with his integrity-challenged sister, Samantha (Kathleen Munroe). Grammy-winning rapper Nelly plays a club owner/confidential informant in a multi-episode arc, while Maroon 5 will make some music.
Ausiello's at it again. Rumer Willis playing Mac Taylor, Julia Ormond as a new detective (Hmm, I wonder if she's latest in the Mac 'love interest' stakes) and just because Ausiello can't resist stirring the pot, a revelation that there will be no D/L big storyline in the 100th episode.

~ Chris Daughtry to guest-star.Question: With all the negative spoilers out there, why should Danny-Lindsay fans even bother watching season 5 of CSI: NY? -- Amy
Ausiello: Two words: Scott Wolf. Sources confirm that the former Party of Fiver is the latest VIP to sign up for the show's 100th episode.
From TV Guide:
CSI:NY's Anna Belknap is adding to her family; her second child is due next year. "They are not planning on hiding it," she tells TV Guide about the pregnancy written into her story line.
From EW:
Anna Belknap's real-life pregnancy is turning into quite the bundle of joy for Danny-Lindsay fans: Not only is CSI: NY incorporating the baby twist into Lindsay's story line, but producers have gone and made Danny the daddy!
"Lindsay will be pregnant," reveals executive producer Pam Veasey. "And, clearly, Danny is the father."
Feel free to kiss the messenger. Or shower him with gifts. Don't be shy.
The bombshell will be dropped in the show's 101st episode, tentatively scheduled to air on Nov. 26, but the fallout will be felt long thereafter. "We're not going to be so typical about it," Veasey adds. "They're both happy about it, but it is unexpected."
Ok, now let's get back to discussing the new season! As always, spoilers can be easily located in the Just the Facts thread so you don't have to wade through the discussion to find anything.
