RULES
-Your entry must not exceed 100x100px or 40kb and must be in jpg, png or gif format. Animations are allowed.
-Don't post your entry anywhere else until after this challenge is over.
-Submit your entry by PMing me, cofi_shot.
-When sending your entry, send the image and URL.
-Use only this image in your icon. Textures, stock images, text, brushes are allowed.

-The challenge will close Thursday October 5th, 8pm EST. If for some reason you can't meet this deadline, make sure to PM me and let me know. (You can only skip one challenge.) Otherwise, you run the risk of being disqualified.

I did an icon with this photo a couple of weeks ago. Can I show it after this challenge has ended though i´m not in the competition anymore ?

Okay, just let me say: aaaaahhhhh!
I think at last I had about 20 different crops and much more different colourings, and I nearly got crazy! But though I'm not very happy with it I finally send it in.
This was hard: such a lovely picture is very difficult to improve in any way *tears my hair*

Round 1 ~ Challenge 6 ~ VOTING

*Lost2MuchSpeed has failed to get in their entry and is disqualified.

-Comment to this post with your chosen 3 icons. (make sure to look at all of the icons, and don't randomly pick bad ones, pick the TOP THREE OF LEAST QUALITY) With these 3 votes, you must include a reason for each icon and why you're voting for it. If you don't follow the rules, you will be banned from voting.

-You are voting for the LESSER QUALITY icon. Please do not vote using your personal preference, as we are voting on the general quality of the icon. This means you should look at the cropping, coloring, sharpening, text, etc. Do not vote for an icon because you don't like the style of it. DO NOT put personal preference into your comment or your vote will be disqualified.

Examples of good reasons:
50: The text is oddly placed
68: The colouring is overpowering
72: The icon is oversharpened
56: The icon is too blurry

Examples of bad reasons:
"I don't like the font." (Personal preference)
"I hate the colour pink." (Personal Preference)
"You can't tell it's Vanessa." (You may comment on the cropping instead.)

OMG, that´s a hard decision. They are all beautiful

#1 - the crop of Vanessa isn´t clear
#3 - the skinetone looks pale
#4 - is a bit blurry

They are all gorgeous (except mine :lol:). I don't think I can vote this time, cause then it'll be obvious which icon's mine. :lol:

Nice job everyone, difficult, but I still give my votes:

01 - Weird crop, it doesn't look very natural
04 - A bit plain and a bit blurry
05 - A bit too sharpen

:eek: Wow you guys get more and more amazing every challenge. However, what has to be done, will be done so...

01. Needs to be sharpened more, and the colouring doesn't compliment the icon's subject.
05. The border is very bright and as a result, the icon's subject is dulled; The background is cropped oddly.
03. The icon is very pale, and blends too much into the background.
