Crap for some reason I thought the entry had to be in by Sat. 8pm and I went to a concert w/ my dad last night and didn't get home till late... :( :( :( *Sniff* Oh well I probably would have used my by pass anyway... This one was a toughie. I still can't believe I made it this far, you guys are so awesome! Good luck to the rest of yall! :)


P.S. Can I still vote even though I'm out?

Wow, it's hard to vote for 3 icons when there are only five entering :lol: Oh well, here it goes:

03. quite plain, but interesting colouring
02. an ordinary style, but nice idea though
04. I like the general layout, but the two different colour schemes are disturbing me for some reason (black and white + colour).

They all looked great though :)

04. A little bland, the colours aren't very vibrant, so it doesn't stand out.
01. Very dark, and could use some more contrast.
03. Too much contrast, the background is distracting, and takes away from the icon's subject.

You all did very well and it was a really hard choice. :)

WOW all these icons are beautiful! If RL wasn't so hectic and I'd submitted mine.....which I spent about ten minutes on and then got called in to work..... I probably would have been voted off lol

Anyway....
04. I like the style, but the crops for each of the black and white boxes is kinda wierd. It takes away from the color picture of Vanessa
03. Choice of phrase is cute, and coloring is great, but it's a little plain
01. This icon is very cute, but you need a bit more contrast so that Vanessa stands out :)

01 - The image doesn't look like it's been edited, and the box would of been better if it wasn't cutting out the eyes. I like the font though.

04 - The boxes are a cool idea but it takes away from the text. I'm not sure what the second word says. But great idea with the different parts of her body in the boxes.

05 - The icon makes Vanessa look gorgeous, and the cut out looks cool, but the outline of the shape thing looks sort of pixelated.

Really tough time choosing. They were all great again this time.

Man, though I didn't know her I'm very grieved and I still can't believe it. It will be very hard to move on here in the Art Forum and espacially in this challenge without her being around :(

It's sick ... really sick. I'm real mad about it. But we should move on. Start a new thread. This was not nessisary.

Wow, I agree, very sick... the message really hurt so many of us and now this.



Okay, I will go on with voting now: (opening a new thread would also be a good solution)

First of all: excellent job everybody, it's so hard to decide, but we have to. :)

03: the background takes away the focus from Vanessa, should have been faded out a bit

01: the crop in the little box doesn't fit, should have shown her eyes

04: the text is hidden by the boxes so it can't be read completely

Though I voted for these three, I like them very much. Keep up the great work!

Indeed very sick.

I will also vote than

03 - Background takes focus of Vanessa
04 - Text is kinda oddly placed
01 - Crop of the little box is weird

I still loved them though ;)
