CSI Miami is filmed where??

also last time i heard was they come to miami like every 3 months not sure if they still do come every 3 months or more often.
 
And that is usually for exterior shots of the actors near regonizable buildings or other areas that would be too expensive to create on a soundstage. I have heard that some of the board members here have seen some filming on a beach near Los Angeles in past seasons.
 
i know that they filmed ep100 in Long Beach, CA cuz the scene where H & F go to Kevin's house (the dead pool dude), the scene opens with them talking to his wife who's standing beside this awesome steel door with glass panels (super baller of course) and that's actually a friend of a friend's house...i only know that cuz my friend is now installing one of those doors too (i'm always on the lookout for the best new stuff for sets, etc...www.neoporte.com has some fantastic products)
