Wow! Third place. That's cool. Thanks for all the votes and big hands and kudos to all the other winners. I loved all these icons. They were great.
Blackflag, without specifically talking to Kat about it, I understand that recognition awards are given out to an artist that hasn't gathered enough votes to win from the crowd but gets recognition from the challenge runner for artistic reasons, such as development in artistic ways (if you are a regular participants) or outstanding brush work or else. Whatever it is, sometimes the challenge runners give out a comment with it, sometimes they just put it up like that. But like I said, I am just assuming and maybe Kat is denying all this above as pure crap. :lol:
Btw... your extraordinary way of cropping the pic made you deserve the best cropping award, not the actual recognition award, so you actually got votes for that one, too.
