“If this turns out to be false, you’re going to pay.” Frank said before he and Calleigh exited. “Okay…we need air patrol along with some boats on the water.” Calleigh said quickly. Frank nodded, and they went to work.
In the air, Frank rode in the helicopter. “Right there! That’s the boat!” Frank yelled, as though he was going to throw up. “Are you okay!” pilot asked. Frank nodded, though he was about to throw up. The pilot laughed.
In the water, Calleigh was on the closest boat to the suspect’s. He had tried to out run them, but it was to no avail. As they approached, officers drew their guns, as well as Calleigh. They jumped out and onto the boat, to find Checker. He had a gun drawn, but there were too many officers. “Put the gun down!” an officer yelled. And he did just that.
Calleigh proceeded down below deck, with six officers behind her. Below, they saw four men tied up, many severely beaten. She saw Ryan at the far end with his hands behind his back, and tape over his mouth. She went straight for Ryan, and the other officers untied the other four.
Back at the lab. Calleigh and Ryan were arguing about he needing to go back to the hospital. Only for him to say he wasn’t going to stay there anymore. “Ryan you need to be there.” Calleigh said. “Look if I can go through what I did, I can be out of the hospital without dieing.” he replied, and she nodded.
As they walked down the hall, Calleigh’s phone rang. “God, I hate answering this damn thing…today nothing good has come from it.” she said before answering it. “Hello? Tripp, did you get him? You did, great.” she hung up. “They got Perez.” she said, and Ryan simply nodded. He continued down the hall, grasping his side from the pain, until he reached the computer lab.
“Heard you’re a damn genius, and hacked into the hospital files.” he said to Heather and she immediately shot her head up. “I knew they’d find your sorry ass. Trying to get off the job that easily, huh?” she joked. He smiled. Today wasn’t so bad after all.
“Well my shift has ended for today, I’m playing tonight with my band. So I wont be around, you going to be cool?” Heather asked. He nodded and turned to Calleigh, and surprisingly Alexx, who had turned up just a second before. “You know, I think I need to sit down somewhere.” he said as he saw Alexx eyeing him fiercely. “Yeah, tough guy. How about we get you home. Calleigh do you think you can drive him?” Alexx asked and Calleigh simply nodded.
