CSI:LV Board Game

This mod is Ready for the Laughing Gas!
I checked this forum and didn't see any posts on the CSI:LV Board Game so I hope it's ok to start a thread!

A friend of mine saw the game in a charity shop and bought it for me, unopened :D Not sure how it made it's way to Ireland but I'm not complaining!

Stokes4Me and I played it this weekend while she was visiting me and honestly...it was a bit disappointing. We played the scenario 'Leave Them Wanting More' and some of the clues you get as you go around the board are...well...useless. And the Grissom's Office cards? Talk about a facepalm!

Oh and the spelling mistakes in the rule book? Hello?!

I have another friend who wants to play it and maybe another scenario would be more interesting so I'll give it another chance.

Just wondering if anyone else has played it and what they thought of it.

There was a short thread called Question about the first CSI board game from back in January 2007. Maybe MacsGirlMel can help you with it, but AngelaG hasn't been on since October 2007. There was also a booster pack add on, but if the game is no good, I don't know if you want to waste money on it.

I got the game a few years ago for Christmas, and honestly, I don't think it's the greatest...

The Grissom's office questions :brickwall: I think we've been through them all and we've only done two scenarios!

Anyway, my favourite part of the game are the little characters  They have such big heads and are so cute

That smiley :brickwall: is perfect for the Grissom's office questions! I think they are there just to make the game last long . But honestly, they were so dumb that the person who landed on the square actually read it aloud anyway.

I love the characters too :D I think we had more fun making up conversations between then than we did playing the game .

I'm just glad that my friend didn't spend the full whack on it! Would not have been worth it!
