CSI: Crime Scene Investigation won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic Television Series last night, beating E.R. and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
<font color=yellow>Marg Helgenberger</font> (Catherine Willows) accepted the award on behalf of the cast and crew, many of whom were in attendance, including executive producer <font color=yellow>Jerry Bruckheimer</font>.
Among those who took to the stage with Helgenberger were executive producer <font color=yellow>Anthony Zuiker</font> and actors <font color=yellow>George Eads</font> (Nick Stokes), <font color=yellow>Paul Guilfoyle</font> (Jim Brass) and <font color=yellow>Eric Szmanda</font> (Greg Sanders).
"It's a great honor to be recognized as the people's choice," Helgenberger said for the cast and crew in her acceptance speech.
<font color=yellow>Jorja Fox</font> (Sara Sidle) and <font color=yellow>Gary Dourdan</font> (Warrick Brown) were also onstage with the group, and together presented the Favorite New Dramatic Series award to CBS's Joan of Arcadia.
Bruckheimer took home the Favorite Film Award as well for Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
