Hi guys. *waves*
I have a question, even though probably it's been asked thousands times. I'm new at making animated icons/banners, so I was wondering how can I make them less heavy? I mean, they all reach like 100kb and more. Is it just a matter f length of the animation? Or is there anyway to make them lighter?

 

If you have Photoshop:

Go to File > Save For Web.

You should be able to select different file types there and you also get a preview of the quality.

I made my very first animated icon. It took me hours, because I couldn't find any tutorials on how to make animated icons with Gimp
